Yea Ser Cauthrien is a nice one. I would think she was full of conflict and confusion. Would like to see how she comes to terms with things (if she lived) or what her life was up to that point.

I really didn't like all the excessive cameos in DA2 and don't want more like that (cameos that make sense and further the plot I'm all for) but for the sake of the game:

Alain was a pretty nice guy I wouldn't mind seeing again. I would also enjoy seeing Solivitus again. But the one person I absolutely, positively would want back in DAI would have to be Viveka, the smart mouthed employee in the Blooming Rose. I swear, everything she said was gold and I haven't enjoyed a minor character as much as her since Dagna from DA:O.

and a redhead mage that appears near the end of DA2 surrounded by templars and goes all abomination on them. It would be quite the challenge to bring her back even for Bioware with their history of bringing dead characters back from the grave

1.  She was awesome.  2.  It would be incredibly easy for Bioware considdering there method for bringing characters back to life involves... carefully - putting them in whatever they feel like.  And reminding anyone who complains that it's there story.  And anything you see happen in their game is "your own headcannon".
