So, origin update and it all goes wrong. Friends disconnect mid game, an can't rejoin, games breaking mid match with powers not working, lag that feels like host is somewhere inside a large planetary body in another solar system. Srsly EA, sort it out.

Anyone else got more than normal amount of nonsense from origin tonight after an update?

Recently i noticed that the Krolords melee dmg does not register half the times on the enemies. And if they do, i'd never see the points. o.O

Yes, Origin has been a total disaster after that update. It keeps getting the sudden idea that all my friends are offline - and that tends to happen in middle of a chat.

I can't even get past the menu screen for ME3. "Checking downloadable content..."

This is the third time I'll have to uninstall/reinstall everything to get it to work. Might not try again this time.

Yesterday it told me that the two friends in the lobby with me were offline. It told them the same about me. Lies!

Well it's giving me this whole "no I don't wanna open/show up maybe check task manager to see origin.exe already running"

*Did the latest patch address the MSI Afterburner/RTSS issue or do we still need to use a different IGO32.dll file? Cause I'm getting troubles with origin in game again

I only have Origin for ME3 (though it seemed to import my old Spore Galatic Adventures game from a gazillion years ago as that used the previous EADM) ... and I am basically not going to buy another game that requires Origin - unlike Steam (which was iffy at first but got better), Origin actually seems to be getting worse, and less stable, with each update.

Then they keep popping up this survey every so often "How likely are you to recommend Origin to your friends?" - really? What is there to recommend a DRM platform with an overpriced shop and unreliable, limited friends list?

I mean nobody "recommends" the PSN/SEN or XBL I wouldn't have thought, the console yes, the exclusive games yes, but nobody buys an XBoX over a Playstation because they prefer the "store"?!

I'm not sure I've ever responded to that survey with more than "0 extremely unlikely to recommend" - it's getting to the point now where there needs to be a

-1 would recommend friends avoid Origin

-2 would recommend friends avoid Origin and refuse buy any game that requires it

-3 I moved to Linux just to avoid Origin

origin is a complete POS. every update it gets worse. Instead of fixing the existing bugs the origin team works on adding new marketing techniques. And EA wonders why steam is blasting them out of the water.
