If it's a DICE game, expect it to be an unplayable buggy mess like their flagship Battlefield 4.

You're the troll. Everyone knows how shoddy it is. In fact, EA investors sued EA because of it. Little effort shows a plethora of info on the woes of Battlefield 4. And I'm a Battlefield 4 Premium member, unfortunately.

I played two maps of SW:BF II last night and it was cool (Kashykk? and Hoth). I just realized this game is older than I thought: 2004
It's been Ten years since and we demand more info about the upcoming BF III.

There might be information given during E3 2014. But DICE started this game not too long ago, so I'd be surprised if they have ANYTHING to show.

Nope, all that is known is that Endor and Hoth are playable maps and that the game will come out around the time that Star Wars VII hits theaters.

Edit: I suspect we might find out a tad bit more at E3 this year, but DICE has remained very tight-lipped on Battlefront. My expectations for the game are incredibly low and I will be pleasantly surprised if they don't screw-up the series. The last game they made that I enjoyed was Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Although, I suppose I should be thankful because DICE lobbied and begged EA to let them make Battlefront, if not for them, we still wouldn't have a new Battlefront game.

Nothing yet. And no, after the Bf4 release debacle and the continued unability to fix it (they game took the better part of a year to finally get into a state that most would call a good MP game (good, NOT brilliant)) I'd wait out at least two weeks and check out user reviews and at EARLIEST consider buying the game then. Basically, Battlefield 4 only really took off after DICE LA took over from DICE Stockholm and patched out the whole lot of bugs the other developement team kept introducing when they tried fixing other bugs (which mostly didn't get fixed, or reintroduced in later patches). That game was pretty much a case story on how to NOT make a game release (and patches).

And seeing how SW: Battlefront 3 is being made by DICE Stockholm, well ...

Wait it out is my heart given advice.

There is no such thing as too many Star Wars games (since 2007).
WE (STAR WARS FANS) NEED A SPACECRAFT, STRATEGY, ACTION-COOP AND RPG STAR WARS GAME.

And all of that needs to be in the same game.

Agreed KOTOR 3 would have been much better than the mmo.

a good Kotor 3 will be good. I do think a Kotor trilogy that is more connect to each other would be nice.

It's DICE/EA. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Haven't heard about this in ages.

Maybe EA can get the KotOR in the Battlefield. First two game style Republic, Revan's Sith, Mandalorians, & Sith Triumvirate factions! Then Darth Traya can woop sum on the battlefield.

Should I make a Kotor trilogy thread here in Off Topic? One of my kotor trilogy ideas that of a more cohesive Kotor trilogy that has new themes, new characters, new bad guys while having returning characters that we love. I am sure that we have at least 1 kotor character that we can see more of. For example, having a more useful Zaablar. As much as I like him and him being a good tank, he has the least developed personality.

Well.. part of a Wookie's charm is that they're 1 dimensional. Start monkeying with their personality & they won't really be a Wookie.

Or you'd end up with the Christmas special.

When I do say expand Big Z's personality, I mean within Character for him. A Quiet Protector role for Mission and for our favorite amnesia merc/jedi/sith/dark jedi.  Have Big Z take out a few rakghouls and Gamorran before he goes down and get captured by the Gamorrans.

I think that since coming aboard, BioWare has added a ton of stuff to the Frostbite engine.   Which, in turn, plays to SW:BF strengths.  Call it me, but I think that EA just wanted to get away from developing on someone else's engine.  Plus, I think that those engines were starting to show their wear.

I liked big Z in KOTOR, especially when he was force tricked into finally shuting Mission's annoying mouth permanently in the DS ending

Well I do wonder what would happen if Big Z goes to the Dark side and still lives. Would Sith Revan break him similarly how Dark Jedi Exile breaks Haharr within Kotor 2? it would be interesting.

Was likely broken or dies after attacking like he does if taken on the SF
