For me it's the shotgun "Venom", it is extremely bad ass, Atlas go down in four shots, and don't even talk about brutes....

I was going to say Venom but everyone else already has. Best 2 dollars I ever spent. lol It's really a grenade launcher more than a shotgun which is awesome. And it's very overpowered. It requires good precision though. I admit I haven't tried every weapon in the game but the Venom when charged is very lethal.

Vega with the typhoon. He can take down an atlas before I even get a look in.
I like shotguns though. Claymore or Wraith, depending on the class.

I haven't used some of these weapons just because I can't stand some of their oddness. I hate the Typhoon, for example, because of that stupid wind up time.
My Shepard is still a rifleman at heart, and he uses a rifleman's rifle: the M-96 Mattock. As far as I can tell, it's still the precision murder machine that it was in ME2

In Space. A fine design that gets the job done without a bunch of fanfare.

Mattock - Shepard can fire 16 shots with pin-point accuracy in half a second... only problem is that Shepard is only able to carry around enough ammo for 3s of sustained fire.

Put it on Narrative, and everything is OP. I play on Narrative for Story mode since I prefer a more relaxed playthrough.

Depends on playthrough for me. Currently finished a DefaultNewME3ShepSoldier playthrough on Insanity.
But I'll do others on trilogy Narrative mode and focus on story.
And another eventually on DefaultNewME3Shep in..Action Mode. And I believe Action Mode does have some different lines at times. I'll also not use an Interrupt. Play on Hardcore or Insanity probably.

I'd say Typhoon. I mean really, even in the hands of NPCs like Vega it's a monster weapon...even moreso in their hands because they never have to run to ammo boxes.
