I ...don't know.

It's been too long for me to remember all those details, but I'll try.

I shot some robots, then some aliens, then some people shot themselves, then I died, then I didn't, then I formed a band, then I helped them with their daddy issues, then we blew up some space bugs, then I blew up a relay, then I got arrested, then I was let out, then I yelled at a lot of people, then I started dreaming about a kid (I thought it was weird too), then I yelled at a few more people, then I broke a sword with my arm, then I landed on Earth, then I learned Anderson was from London, then I fought a few waves of enemies, then I ran towards a beam, then I got shot by a beam, then I walked slowly towards a beam, then I shot a Marauder trying to protect that beam, then I went into the beam, then I killed the Illusive Man (he's just some weirdo) and a beam transported me on top of the Citadel, then I talked to the leader of the Reapers, then he told me to make a decision, and I just shrugged my shoulders and picked blue because blue is cool.

Add in some random sex here and there, and you pretty much have my Shepard's story.

"Canon story" is a very strange term.

The only true story is told only during the very first playthrough, where you didn't know any details and had to make the decisions for real. All additional playthroughs are nothing more but a "travel back in time in attempt to fix the mistakes you made".

...Want to notice, that my final choice in the very first ME3 playthrough was Synthesis :)

The word "canon" seems fitting. What's canon for your Shepard?

I get what you mean about first playthroughs but the problem with that is that I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't understand the game mechanics on how to fight well and picked soldier a few times because it seemed less confusing. You also don't even know what a certain dialogue makes your character say until you click on it. Each game had other obstacles.

ME1: Difficulty knowing where to put points, how to mod weapons/armor, how to switch weapons. I seriously was only using a pistol for my first 2 playthroughs when I put points in assault rifles because I thought I was switching weapons when I wasn't.

ME2: I didn't know how to scan planets so I couldn't get any upgrades and lost 3 crew members in the sucide mission just from ship damage.

ME3: Again, I didn't know how to scan planets. This caused me to miss out on a lot of side quests which gave me a poor repuation and war assets. Besides that, I didn't play the DLCs until after a few playthroughs.

My canon playthrough is one where I know just what my character will say when I click on it, know how to fight, know what class does what, know how to actually do side quests, and role play as a character who doesn't know what the outcome of a decision will be. Not only do I consider this canon but I found it much more enjoyable than my first playthrough where I didn't know what I was doing.

Ends at the end of the First and True Mass Effect. Saved Rachni, Wrex, Ashley, the Council, romanced Ashley, and made the military guy humanities rep on the Council. Stopped the Reapers, got the girl. Then he made a deal for two fanfics to be made into video games (Shepard became a popular galactic figure and the reveal of the Reapers and their role in the history of the galaxy became public knowldge.). Prothian and Reaper technology is now being vigorously studied.

Have you signed on with Choose Wisely yet? They don't quite believe what you do since most of ME1 is false too, but it's something you might want to look into.

Nolan Shepard: Male Colonist/Ruthless Infiltrator
Laura Shepard: Female Colonist/Sole Survivor Engineer

My 'canon' MaleShep and FemShep, I headcanon that they're brother and sister who grew up together on Mindoir. Their father lost a brother to the Turians in the First Contact War, and never let the family forget it. The sister, Laura, had a more idealistic viewpoint pre-Mindoir, wanting to join the Alliance and get off that rock. The brother, Nolan, was content to stay, and likely would have become a farmer, like their father, and a Terra Firma member at that.

In Nolan's universe, Laura was taken in the batarian raid. Nolan's parents were killed, and he had a control wire stuck in his brain - he would have shared his sister's fate were it not for a lucky potshot by one Lieutenant Zabaleta. He joins the Alliance in his sister's stead, harboring the secret hope of one day rescuing her from her captors. That hope is dashed on Torfan, where he saw firsthand what the Batarians do with female slaves. The revelation, coupled with the loss of his team, left him a broken man with little purpose in life outside his duty - he'll keep fighting until it kills him, and take as many of the bastards with him as he can. He has lingering psychological issues from Torfan which start to work themselves out over the course of the trilogy. He has a very cynical outlook in the beginning and little patience for naive idealists, but respects those who can show him they know what they're doing. He's a fatalist, and as such allowed no close relationships (through ME1); he keeps people at arm's length, but is fiercely protective of the lives under his command.

Nolan, in spite of his upbringing, isn't a hardcore xenophobe - his stance is similar to Ashley's, recognizing that each species acts first in their own interest, and it's no sin for humans to do the same. He grows to trust his alien crew and assists them in their own matters. In the ME1 timeline, he spares the Rachni Queen, saves the Zhu's Hope colonists, saves the Destiny Ascension (regrettably, the Council was on board), rescues Kirrahe (and Ashley) over the marines at the bomb site, and talks down Wrex, but romances no one, and sacrifices the hostages on X57 to arrest Balak. He tries to spare life whenever he can, but he isn't as forgiving to those who lie to his face, and he doesn't shy away from sacrificing the few for the many. He believes justice has no expiration date - meaning he can hold a grudge for years.

Death changed him. Made him realize that he didn't want to die. From what I've established, you should be able to guess some of what he does. Encouraged Miranda to speak to her sister, killed Jacob's father (first instinct was to let his crew tear him apart, but Jacob didn't need to hear it - gave him a pistol instead). Saved the Genophage data (better to have it and not need it), but later deeply disturbed by video footage of Urdnot Torsk in LotSB. Taken completely off-guard by the revelation of Tali's interest in him, the woman who stood by him through everything. Exonerated her at her trial, and later entered a relationship which does a lot to draw him out of his funk. Sees Sidonis as being in a state not unlike himself after Torfan, and stops Garrus from shooting him. Initially suspicious of and guarded against Legion, siding with Tali after he committed an act of espionage on his ship, but despite seeing him as a 300-year-old war criminal, Shepard gradually grew to respect him. Maintained a suspicion (though not an antagonism) of Cerberus, ultimately destroying the Collector Base, but lost Jack and Legion in the process.

Reluctantly cured the Genophage after a heated argument with Mordin (no weapons drawn), Wrex and Eve in charge. Chose Aralakh Company over the Rachni Queen, believing her too much at risk of indoctrination due to her prolonged captivity. Swallowed his grudge and recruited Balak for the war effort, vowing to find the pencil-pusher who let the bastard out of jail. Stayed loyal to Tali. Distrusted the Reaper code, and trusted the Geth VI even less, emptying a clip into it when it announced its intent to exterminate the Quarians. Promised to build a house for Tali after the war. Destroyed the Reapers, and survived.

------------------------------

Nolan is killed on Mindoir, hardening Laura's personality considerably. She hates Batarians on account of what they did to her family, but beyond that her rule of thumb is that she's willing to help anyone... so long as doing so doesn't overrule human interests. So yeah - she helps Tali on her pilgrimage and helps Garrus find his man, but... she's with Cerberus. She was always with Cerberus, all the way through the events of ME1. Given that her service history is Sole Survivor, it leaves the exact nature of her role in the Akuze incident an open question. She's a schemer. You can imagine some of the things she does - she releases the Rachni queen with the intent of Cerberus picking it up later, eliminating all of the Binary Helix guards after being directed to the Hot Labs (they attacked her first, but she did a sweep to eliminate any witnesses - this later extended to Ashley and Wrex) then has to contain the situation when Cerberus fails to hold her. She lets Kolyat succeed in assassinating Joram Talid, keeping her hands clean in the process. That said, she has a conscience - she begins to develop doubts about the organization. She feels horrible about turning Veetor over for interrogation, and in the wake of Project Overlord, opts to keep Legion instead of turning him in. She still keeps the Collector Base, but cuts ties with Cerberus shortly after. Though her relationship with Kaidan keeps her grounded, she has a cold, practical side which grows increasingly pronounced over the course of the war, ultimately choosing Control (primarily to sit on Wreav/Eve +cure after hesitating to shoot Mordin).

I could go into more detail on her, but I think I've rambled on long enough, and I have other things to do today.

I really liked this post. Thank you. You told it as a story rather than simply listing your decisions. You get to see the motivations behind your choices.

I didn't like that footage of Urdnot Torsk either. It shows the deep racism they have for salarians. I don't understand why krogan cannot see that they brought the genophage on themselves by rebelling against the galaxy. They were flinging asteroids at Turian colonies. Did they expect the other species to just bow down and let the krogan rule them?

One of my favorite scenes in the series was Nocturnal Shepard killing Joram Talid herself in front of C-Sec right after pulling the spectre card on Elias Kelham; as if tensions with humans on the Citadel weren't bad enough. Now human spectres are killing alien politicians with opinions. lol  It was justifable for her as it was a way to stop Kolyat from killing him and Joram was a criminal. She always got the job done although her methods might be questionable for those asking for her help.

Well, I have this head canon going on, that before Shepard became Spectre (s)he participated in a special course with other candidates to test their capability. Three candidates passed the test from which the council picked the first human Spectre. The first one was a guy from earth named Hector who survived a thresher maw attack that killed his whole squad.
The second was Lara, a colonist from Mindoir whose family has been killed by Batarians and who is known for her ruthless actions against them on Torfan. They call her “The Butcher of Torfan”.
The third one is a highly respected Alliance officer whose parents and grandparents all served. He is famous for fending off a Batarian attack on Elysium.(“The Hero of Elysium”) He is also the favorite of the Alliance because he is the most experienced and the most respected from those three ( the final choice has the council though).
The whole point is, that the one who gets picked in the end should ask him/herself why (s)he was chosen (and why not the favorite), and also to have some head canon interaction between three very different characters, kinda like in L.A. Confidential.  So far I’ve played the first two.

Hector Shepard.
He sees his choice as a rotten compromise with those who didn’t want to strengthen humanity more by picking the Alliance’s favorite or by picking the one who is a symbol for aggressive human expansion in the traverse.  So he stays out of big politics and just focuses on doing his job as good as he can, knowing that if he fails this hurts humanity’s position even more.
He is loyal to the Alliance because they gave him a second chance in life. He strongly believes that others need to have a second chance too.
Hector is basically a good and honest guy, however sometimes his experience from growing up in a crime infested city
district with no parents comes through. For example, he doesn’t  waste any time on Virmire when Wrex pulls the gun
on him. He already experienced those situations and knows, that all it takes is a twitch of a finger. So he puts down Wrex swiftly.
He doesn’t look down on aliens or follows some human centric agenda. He distrusts Cerberus for not being honest and hiding their true intentions. His character was slightly influenced by Kaneda from Akira, at least that’s how I figured his youth was like.

Some of his most important choices:
He saved the council,  saved Ashley on Virmire (1.st LI) but killed Wrex.
He romanced Tali after since ME2. The point was, that he always had a soft spot for those who get looked down on like the Quarians. It reminds him of his own youth. I decided to go for Tali after helping Lia’Vael  on the Citadel (probably would go for her if she was an option).
Because he believes in second chances, he cured the Genophage, released the Rachni queen and he even made peace on Rannoch (god help me).
He picks destroy because he things he has no right to decide for the whole Galaxy (control) and because even this simple man knows how wrong synthesis is.

Lara Shepard
She sees her choice as a recognition for her ruthless behavior and an approval of her methods. She is neither particularly popular in the Alliance (for sending Alliance Marines to their death) nor among Aliens (Symbol of human aggressions) so for her to become the first human Spectre means she is needed to do some dirty work.
She herself has a rather cold relationship with the Alliance, she blames their passivity on Mindoir for the death of her Family. In fact she only joins to make sure this “mistake” doesn’t happen again which leads to her actions on Torfan (I have a head canon that she refused to follow orders and fall back and that this brought the whole company of Major Kyle under fire. In the end however, her actions won Torfan).
Her character is strongly influenced by Nascimento from the “Tropa de Elite” movies, which means, she absolutely despises criminals and hostile individuals and have zero mercy with them, dislikes passivity and people who defend criminals (Hector ;) ) and also hates the corruption and arrogance of politicians.  Also she’s aggressive and unstable at times.

She does not look down on Aliens in general, however she divides into those who have proven they can live peaceful and those who don’t. The latter includes Krogans, Rachni and Batarians. Geth and other synthetics are only machines who have proven to be dangerous.  She absolutely loathes Cerberus for sacrificing colonists for some spooky and senseless experiments. She only works with them because she sees no other option to save colonies from the collectors. (Colonists are her weak spot).

A very important character for her is Liara (her LI). They’re in love with each other, but have very different ideologies and personalities (Liara is more cool, compassionate and restrained) and often clash because of that. Liara is also the only person who can make Shepard being more compassionate and forgiving. For example, only because of her Shepard lets Shiala live. Later (in ME2) however, Shepard discovers, that she changed Liara as well, making her more ruthless and direct, (which shocked Shep). (This combination worked perfectly for this playthrough. Even the colors were right.
Default Femshep -> renegade red, Liara -> paragon blue, it’s like Yin and Yang).
Two other important characters for her were Ashley and Garrus. She sees the two as apprentices and possible successors, so she wants to teach them her way. This again has been taken from the movie “Tropa de Elite” where the main protagonist wants to quit the special police unit  but needs a replacement to do so.

Major choices, (If you read so far you probably guessed some already):  Saved the council, saved Ash on Virmire, killed Kyle after a heated argument with him, defied Cerberus wherever she could, sabotaged the genophage cure with Wrex, killed the Rachni queen and destroyed the Geth.
She also never released Grunt and spaced Legion instead of giving it to Cerberus. And finally she picked destroy.
I also have tons of head canon stories for her (a prehistory of her working undercover with the Blue Suns, an alternative ME2 beginning where she only faked her death, a story that gives a reason for letting Morinth live, even a story for Ashley as Shepard’s successor ).

I haven't played the third character yet. I considered making him a human centrist and a cold tactician with sympathy for cerberus (However, due to his family background he stays loyal to the Alliance). He would see his choise as a proof for humanity's new strengh and high influence in the Galaxy (they were able to push their favourite through). He will continue to strengthen humanity's position (if I ever decide to play this character).

I don't think my first Shepard ever made it past the first game,  I actully had a whole bunch of Shepards that I don't even remember anymore, I do distinctly recall that the my  very first Shepard was a mostly paragon Spacer that chose to let the council die.

Most things vary from one Shepard to another, and I don't actually have a canon because I love all 3 of them very much. But while I don't have a canon Shepard in mind, I do have some canon decisions for my games:

Always save Wrex.
Always destroy collector base.
Always cure genophage.
Always make peace between Quariand and Geth.
Always choose Destroy ending.

As I said, complicated.

I'm pretty dark. People here would be genuinely pissed off with me.

I play a coldly logical, practical, and rational Shepard.

Unfettered Machiavellian True Neutral, with shades of neutral evil and neutral good.

Basically a sociopathic hero. One minute he's fine, showing compassion to an enemy and making them friends, as he did for Cerberus. The next, he'll unflinchingly consign thousands of innocents to gruesome deaths if it furthers his own goals.

He exists above and beyond morality and ethics. He doesn't intrinsically hate the Reapers, just understands that if he wants to live, they must die, and that their existence is too flawed.

I noticed you twice mentioned how you didn't comfort Liara and her mandatory invite to the party. Something I should know? I like how your story deviates slightly from the pure paragon path that most do by having a synthetic prejudice.

I never brought the same crew repeatedly on missions. It always depended on which squadmate was most fitting rather than their skills since I used them as cannon-fodder mostly.

I don't hate Liara, but I find her pretty annoying so I try to spend as little time as possible with her. Thanks though, I thought the dislike for synethetics and hate of Geth added something interesting and made Shep more human.

That's something that bothers me about pure paragons. Besides being ass-kissers if taken too far, they just don't act "human." How can someone kill dozens of people but then hesitate when confronting ring-leaders like Maelon, Harkin, NIket, Sidonis, or Aresh? Realistically all that killing would harden Shepard. The "white knight" portrayal of Shepard is kind of boring without flaws because it lacks realism.

I played my canon playthrough a while back, so I won't remember everything I did, but I know the highlights:

-name: Jeff Shepard
-Colonist
-War Hero
-Paragade. Heart of gold, yet is able to make unpopular moves and can be seen as an ass a times. Became more paragon over time.

ME1:
Saved Wrex
Went without romance
Went in this order- Therum > Feros > Virmire > Noveria > Ilos
Did every single side mission
Ashley died on Virmire
Saved the council
Chose Udina as council
Earned an apartment from Pinnacle Station
Let Balak go to save the hostages

ME2
Did every single side mission
Went paragon.
Saved everyone in the SM
Won the love of Tali Zorah
sent David Archer to Grissom Academy
Had Morinth killed

Me3:
Did every single side and fetch mission, and did all the planet scanning
Kept tali as romance
Paragon
Cured genophage
Eve survived
Took back Omega
Shot Udina myself
Let Kaiden rejoin my squad
Got the Leviathan to fight on our side
Saved the normandy from brooks
Got Javik from Eden Prime
Made peace between Geth and Quarians
Decided to become a protector for the galaxy from outside threats by choosing control, then took the reapers back to darkspace to watch for any inter-galactic threats that may come

Ok, haven't done this in a while so let's see:

This Shep is very loyal to his friends and a good person at heart but he can't stand it when people give him crap or try to manipulate him.
Background: Colony kid/War hero
Class: Infiltrator, good with sniper- and assault rifles

ME1:
- Went to Feros -> Therum -> Novaria -> Vermire
- Most used squad mates: Liara, Garrus
- Shot Jeong but saved all other colonists on Feros
- Discovered that Captain Ventralis was a traitor and killed every last soldier in rift station, saved the rachni queen
- Let Balak go to save the hostages
- Saved Wrex and Kaidan on Virmire (Ash defends the bomb and goes out in a blaze of glory, in honor of the 212)
- Romanced Liara
- Talked Saren into suicide and saved the council
- Chose Anderson for the council

After ME1, Shep is very biased against synthetics and especially he Geth

ME2:
- Recruited everyone and did all the side quests
- Most used squad mates: Garrus, Mordin, Samara, Tali (doesn't really completely trust the others)
- Shep doesn't like TIM at all -> Vetor goes back to the Quarians
- Talked to the council but turned down SPECTRE status
- Vido got away but Zaeed was yelled into loyalty
- Morinth embraced the goddess (Niftu Cal lives :))
- Sidonis is left alive in self regret (for Garrus' sake) but Harkin gets a bullet into his leg (had it coming, really)
- Jack doesn't get to kill the guy in her old cell
- Saved Melon's data
- The Admiralty board is renegade yelled into not exiling Tali
- David Archer goes to Grissom (Gavin is pistol slapped)
- Romanced no one in the main game
- Reconnected with Liara during LotSB
- Not taking sides for Miranda or Jack (paragon persuade)
- Destroyed the Heretic Geth
- Siding with Tali against Legion (-> Legion not loyal)
- Legion dies in the vent during the SM
- Destroyed the Collector Base
- stealthed through the initial part of Arrival and held his ground at object rho (not that it matters)

After ME2, Shepard gets a new perspective on the Geth, due to Tali's loyalty mission and Legions sacrifice. He is wondering if the geth really are the bad guys. At this point, I actually gibbet my save to make Legion reappear in ME3, as the reapers have found his body and reactivated him to boost the AI signal.

ME3:
- Does all missions, side quests and fetch quests + all DLC
- Most frequent squad mates: Liara, Garrus
- Reconnected with Liara after Mars
- Got Dr. Chakwas back on the Normandy (and had another bottle of brandy with her)
- Let the Rachni queen go (but Grunt was still ok)
- Cured the Genophage
- Killed Udina himself
- Let Kaidan back on the ship (although he got only renegade responses on Moars)
- Encouraged EDI and Joker to start a relationship
- Encouraged Liara to speak to her dad
- Saved Samara from suicide
- Let Garrus win the bottle shooting
- Set Jack's students up for support roles
- Gave Miranda the alliance access
- Encouraged James to do the N7 program
- Talked to Steven enough to make him survive (STEEEEEVE is ok)
- Due to the slow shift of his views on the geth, Shep ultiately negotiates piece between the Geth and the Quarians
- Went mostly with Nyreen and against Aria during the Omega assault
- Went with Liara against Javik and had Javik use the memory shard
- Invited everyone to the citadel party (had a loud party)
- Beat Jacob at the arcade game (this Shep thinks he is an idiot, he is the only one who Shepard didn't contact via holo call during Priority: Earth to say goodbye)
- Chose destroy with the MEEM mod so now the organics of the galaxy have to face the dark energy crisis on their own.

Selyn Shepard is a Colonist War Hero Soldier Paragon and very much a reluctant warrior. She was always curious about other species and civilizations and, as a teenager, wanted to pursue a civilian career that would involve space travel. She isn't naive about the dangers of the galaxy, but she tends to view self-serving behavior by people at the top of the ladder as the cause of most conflicts rather than inevitable disputes or interspecies differences, and Mindoir didn't change that even as it gave her a brutal first-hand look. Her biggest regret was not being able to protect the rest of her family and some of her friends whom she saw killed or abducted. After Mindoir, she spent a couple years living with other young refugees trying to rebuild their lives on their own and saw some of them turn to petty crime and drug addiction.

"Not another Mindoir" was her reason for joining the Alliance and her mantra during the Blitz - she wasn't about to let the citizens of Elysium be slaughtered or taken away as slaves. But she does have a slightly irreverent attitude that comes out when her skepticism of authority figures proves justified. She didn't hesitate to tell Al-Jilani about Saren's involvement in the Eden Prime attack, for example, figuring the public needs to know what's happening even if the Council doesn't like it, and she'll occasionally let loose with a wise-ass Renegade dialogue choice as long as it isn't anything that sounds xenophobic or gung-ho. Which means somebody like Councilor Sparatus gets the "Three? No...four!" response when he challenges her about releasing the rachni queen. This is also why she was willing to work with Cerberus - she can't stand TIM and blew up the Collector Base without hesitation, but at least he gave her the resources to stop the colony attacks.

The arrival of the Reapers meant that there would be many more Mindoirs, of course, but her sympathy for underdogs and marginalized populations was still one of the principles that guided her decisions throughout the war (curing the genophage, geth/quarian peace), and her encounter with the Leviathans validated her view that selfish, short-sighted authority figures were often to blame for the galaxy's problems.

While she's an effective leader who does care about her crew and does what she can to help them sort out their own issues along the way, she's a bit of a loner socially and did not have a romance in any of the three games. I'll occasionally purposely pick a slightly awkward dialogue choice with her, e.g. not knowing the toast in the scene with James at the Purgatory bar. She was probably closest to Garrus, Tali, and Kaidan, and she does admit that she's starting to feel worn down by the end of the war.

Have finally got around to buying the final piece of DLC (Overlord for ME2) so have embarked on what I consider my 'canon' Shepard.
Currently finishing ME2, so that part will have to wait (or maybe posted in two parts) and then straight into ME3.

Name: Alice Shepard
Background: Spacer / War Hero
Class: Adept

Alice is serving as the Executive Officer aboard the Frigate Normandy. A Spectre Agent called Nihlus is on board obstensibly to observe Shepard. A colony on Eden prime has gone quiet and she is to be part of the team to investigate. initially cautious of Nihlus she realsises that he isa formidable agent and someone who commands respect.
Posted Image

The mission on Eden Prime does not start well, early casualties are replaced by a new recruit called Ash - Alice finds her a competant soldier in the following engagements, and begins to trust her in a firefight. There is no time to discover more, as fighting a race of machines known as the Geth and what appears to be abominations formed from humans keeps them occupied. A myserious ship is seen leaving the planet to destinations unknowm.
Shepard watched in awe as the ship, far larger than anything she had known, flew off.
Posted Image

During her investigations on Eden prime, Alice discovers a band of smugglers and introduces herself in a style that will soon become legendary.
Posted Image

About this time she discovered the body of Nihlus and learnt that another Turian had killed him - she vowed to find him and work out what had occurred and why he was in league with these Geth.
Her two squadmates Ash and Kaiden are worried by the implications of what they find, but follow Alice - believeing in her leadership and sttrength that she will uncover the truth.
Posted Image

Following the discovery of the beacon, Alice's mind is confused  - she cannot understand what images she has seen. Although the Doctor assures her she is fine, she is shaken by the images of destruction she witnesses.
Posted Image

Worse is to follow - she is ordered to report to the Citadel and discuss her findings with the Council. Although excited at the prospect of visiting, the thought of seeing the Council and explaining her visions disturbs her. On arrival she eagerly explores the station, and encounters many new life forms and aliens she had never met before. She spends time learning that helping people can be it's own reward; although credits certainly help.
Posted Image

The meeting with the Council does not end well - she is hardly believed, and worse still, loses her temper. She suspects that this will not be the last time that she does so - she cannot understand why they would not believe her. Even worse, she realises she has made an altogether unexpected enemy - Udina. She feels this will not be the last time their paths cross.
After chasing a few leads to try and discover the whereabouts of the Turian from Eden prime (unfortuanetly for Alice, a Spectre called Saren and thus currently untouchable) she recruits two unliely allies - a Turian called Garrus and a krogan called Wrex. Garrus is drawn to her forceful style whilst Wrex respects her directness - a firm partnership is formed. this becomes apparent when hunting down a known criminal called Fist - just the threat of violence from her team removes trouble. Alice's personal style rises to the fore again.
Posted Image

Alice corners Fist in his bolthole, a seedy club which Alice remembers helping a serving girl in... as well as getting to know one of the dancers. Fist surrenders his information after another round of Alice's diplomacy.
Posted Image

Realising that a Quarian is in danger after information she held could lead her to Saren, Alice and her team sprint through the backways of the Ciatadel to arirve in time to rescue her. initally suspect of the strange Quarian, Alice begins to realsie that looks are decieving - as she realised with Wrex and Garrus.
Tali is welcomed into her strange group, opening Alice's eyes to different cultures and experiences - maybe working with aliens could work.
Tali's evidence is presented to the Council and the first of two significant occurences in the near future happen to Alice - she is made a Spectre, a tool of the Council. Chosen to represent humanity, the burden weighs on her - but secretly she realises that it gives the chance for her ruthlessness to shine through.
Posted Image

Soon other errant scum on the Citadel meet Alice's unique style.
Posted Image
Posted Image

Tasked with finding Saren and bringing him to Justice, Alice is given control of the Normandy and sets out into the wide galaxy, to explore the stars and hunt for the Turian Traitor.
Posted Image

After numerous conflicts with pirates and slavers on unknown worlds, and a numerous requests to Alliance HQ to have her Mako licence removed, Her first destination is Therum. She hopes to find the daughter of Matriarch Benezia, a known associate of Saren. Perhaps by introducing some Alice diplomacy further clues can be found.
A tough fight against the Geth follows, Tali's tech combat skills proving invaluable during the desperate fights. Alice realises that with the Geth this numerous she must find something important.
Posted Image

Exploring some ancient ruins, Alice is drawn towards a shining blue light - there the second most significant occurence happens - she finds Matriarch Benezia's daughter Liara caught in a stasis bubble.

More to follow if I can sum up the enthusiasm.

This is a fantastic post. You follow a philosphy that affects all your decisions. I bet your Shepard butted heads with Javik a lot. He specifically criticizes defending the weak; something Selyn Shepard seems to live for. Not many characters go without a romance ever. Not even a fling (Kelly? Shiara?). Very unique. It was funny how many asari came onto my Shepard. Shiara (before meeting Liara), Liara, Shiala, Morinth, and then Aria.

My Vanguard, Engineer, and Adept Shepards are the ones I am most invested in.

Out of the three, the Engineer was the last one I played with. Unfortunately, she's not so good with words so she wrote up a little song for you all, that might sound familiar.

Elizabeth R. Shepard (feat. Combat Drone Dribblez)
"Mass Effect, Part 1"
Alliance Records

"Now this is the story all about how
My life got massed effected upside down
And I'd like to take a short relay hop, just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became The Shepard of a town called Space

In the Attican Traverse I was born and raised
On the colony of Mindoir I spent most of my days
Spacing and farming, relaxing all cool
And utilizing combat drones outside of the school
When a few Batarians who were up to no good
Started making trouble from the Skyllian Verge
They only need one massive fight and my family got fried
So I said "I'm enlisting with the Alliance out in Elysium"

I joined with up with a ship and when it came near the
Name said "Normandy" with a cripple at the helm
If anything I could say that this crew was rare
But I thought, nah forget it, yo Anderson to Eden Prime

We pulled up to a colony about seven or eight [lys.]
And I yelled to the Spectre "Yo, Nihlus, smell you later!"
Looked up at my journey, it was finally starting
To put up my nameplate as The Shepard of Space."

Romance Interest: Ashley Williams (faithfully)

Class: Vanguard

Pre-service history: Spacer

Psycological profile: Sole Survivor.

Reputation: Paragade

I'm usually very Paragade when it comes to most of my decisions throughout the series and I try to base it off of exactly what I would do if I were in that situation. I usually save the council in ME1, Save Wrex and Ashley,Save the queen, among doing all the side missions. I usually like to save all of my crew in ME2 and one-up the Illusive Man in ME2 by Destroying the Collector base. In ME3, I usually Cure the Genophage, Unite the Quarines and the Geth, and pick the Destroy option. For reasons of closure, I tend to believe my Shepard survives the events of 3 and goes on to marry Ashley and start a family with her on Earth while the rest of the galaxy lives on in peace.

SERVICE HISTORY: Sole Survivor

REPUTATION: Neutral (Unfettered Machiavellian Pragmatic Consequentialist True Neutral or Lawful Evil)

Do I really need to describe my Shepard? I'm one of the loudest people here on this issue. And the most colorful, mainly because I hate every character you're supposed to love, and love every character you're supposed to hate (or I hate them for different reasons than given in game: looking at you Kai Lame).
