The drell is arguably more squishy as atleast the geth can use cm 4 to be not-squishy. Higher health is of little help as there is no way to improve it other than fitness.

Drell's speed with AM III more than makes up for it.

Also, a Drell can survive a banshee warp that shield-gates while only having one bar of health. On top of that, the DI has an "instant stagger button" which means more sustained damage.

:wizard:

If you get hit by a banshee warp using the drell, you're doing it wrong;)
Also what is this instant stagger button you are talking about....both of his booms take a while before exploding unless if already ccast ofcourse

Anyone that tells me I'm playing Drell wrong must be playing Drell wrong.

For example, not having your recon mine set ahead of time. ;)

I've fallen in love with the DI lately. Love that situational awareness I get with a geth scanner and the mine's invasive scan. I take duration on cloak and a Javelin X with phasic.

Hmmm.... duration.

Yeah, I'm just scrubby enough to need it apparently. Just like on my Asari infiltrator. <checks Asari infiltrator>. Ok, just not like on my Asari infiltrator, which is slow and squishy instead of fast and squishy. Maybe I should take the training wheels off of the Drell ...

DI with damage ... does more damage while being almost as survivable. Works for me.

Adjust the settings for your screen, otherwise, get some shades  :police:

GI usually.

Most differences are due to loadout and in that department the GI gets a lot more slack.

The Hunter certainly wins hands down.

Anyone saying otherwise has a trench coat fetish, rebellious agenda, or kepral syndrome.

It depends really. GI has the best single targets damage output, but DI wins at cc and blinding teammates and screen shake with dat recon mine spam.

Damage wise GI. Variety wise all other infiltrators. Anyway for me, based on pure dmg(Single Target, not time to kill) output

1.GI

2.SI/DI(both i feel are equally matched)

3.TGI(He is by far one of the best but just for comparison sake, he is 3rd here)

4.QMI(I know those arc nades are the shiz and people may like qmi a lot more than the above 2 :P)

But then we can go on and on. In the end it comes down to what you like. You like DI, go ahead. You like GI, go ahead. It's not like we are losing out on something either way! :P

P.S No im not gonna include aiu in that list cos i only use her as a melee kit :P

Drell Infiltrator all the way.  Both are fun to play with and offer different play styles.  I just like being super vigilant while playing as a Drell Infiltrator, and being agile enough to run away from most enemy fire while reviving squad mates or doing objectives.

No way SI=DI... it's DI>SI any day anytime...

Since it's one mine at a time sometimes when am running around I have to detonate the mine and place it somewhere more strategic. Am sorry your face is in the way...

As i said, for me, i would prefer the SI on the same level as DI. DI has better passives and cc, but SI has one of the best shield stripping powers in the game and that also restores his own shields too. So i thought that they were both equally matched.

GI is better. Drell and QMI are as close as it gets to being the GI on platinum.

QMI probably beats both of those kits on Gold or below and definitely does if a nade map versus Cerberus or Geth but it's real close even with the AOE massacre of Arc Nades, GI will still be damn close in just laughable weapon damage output.

Erm, why would anyone play GI and DI on any difficulty below gold? Except they just picked up ME3 like yesterday...

QMI on platinum, I would say is dependent because ammo is sparse on plat. So you need flexibility and none is more flexible than the Destructive Rapid Executioner Lizard Lord... Though I must admit GI+Javelin is like carrying a mini missile launcher. Drell handles the Javelin well too, I've never been able to compare but I don't think I need to.

Why would ammo supply matter to the QMI? The QMI has the highest debuffing power and nade supply is static across all difficulties. Sure his efficiency is related to the map's abundance of grenades but he isn't that limited by ammo supply.

Specifically nades was on my mind, they are ammo, right? And I think I'd pick recon mines over tactical scan... so that leaves me with nades which is map dependent as per efficiency. Don't pay me too much mind though as my judgement is clouded by my DI sentiments. I haven't played QMI well enough to make factual summations.

GI might be 'better', but Drell is just so much more fun.

DI = Gi =QMI in my book

Then SI = HI = TGI and slightly less QFI and shadow

Melee AIU is definitely on top in terms of fun though
