I have always underestimated this spell on previous playthroughs but after reading about it, I feel a bit foolish now!

I am currently playing through as a blood mage, how does this spell act? Does it still use mana?

If you have the blood magic activator ON, -then you will use health points, just like any other spell
when blood magic activator is ON
