Will we encounter/recruit any of the Alamarri tribes in DA:I? Will the Avvar play any part in this storyline? I imagine having the numerous tribes behind the Inquisitor could help if we need extra bodies. The Alamarri/Avvar have made brief appearances and have been mentioned, and I believe players have encountered a few of their shrines in the past......I'm curious if their role will be a bigger one anytime soon. Thoughts?
Alamarri tribes?

I dont think we'll recruit one because they have no real tie to the story but it being confimed that we'll be travelling in between orlais and fereldan i think we'll be passing through their territory. So there's a chance, i just dont think itll be major at all

If they aren't really going to play much of a part in this game or future ones, why so many references to them? If I recall correctly, Andraste and her husband were part of the Alamarri. In Origins, I think you encounter a random battle with a group of them, and later in Awakening you find one of their shrines.Sentinel358 wrote...

In origins there were a lot of references partially due, i think, to the fact that one of the origin stories for humans was going to be that we were originally from an Alamarri tribe but ultimately they're just part of the DA universes lore so since theyre Fereldans ancestors ofcourse we're going to see bits of their culture scattered around Fereldan
