One criticism that I have of the appearance customization system in ME3 is that it was rather difficult to make Shepard's armor look "tactical," for lack of a better term. That is, it's easy to do one solid color and a few stripes, but not so easy to re-create present-day military patterns such as AOR1 (i.imgur.com/an5EZmY.jpg), Multicam (i.imgur.com/4VVmdzh.jpg), or Woodland MARPAT (i.imgur.com/3FMq7sS.jpg).
My suggestion: let us scan in pictures of camouflage patterns such as this (i.imgur.com/Q8Os1Pi.jpg) and the game uploads it onto the main character's armor.
Request for ME4: Make it easier to make good camouflage patterns for armor.

Oh I agree, I wanted the camo scheme to mimic the Waffen SS Rauchtarnmuster pattern:

Sadly it didn't go too well.

How about, instead, giving us the ability to "save" two or three customized armor schemes? Put together the pieces you want with the color scheme you want, give it a name (ex: Desert), save it, and put together the next schema to use.

Easy? You mean just give us freaking cameo patterns because all we had was odd stripes and snow at best. They do need to have actual pattern types two just wasn't enough.

what about the casual wardrobe? That was really hideous. I still laugh about the Shepards Crocodile Dundee brown leather shorts outfit introduced in ME2.....talk about wrong.com
