At least it you avoid miranda you don't need to remember jacob's man porridge being in there.
Anyway on a more serious point I think for femshep liara is pretty much the only way to go, sadly. Broshep ain't so fussy.

Now this thread isn't about these three in particular, but it got me thinking, who is the best romance interest for you in your playthrough? Now this is strictly subjective so what's right for me won't necessarily be what's right for you as we have different personalities and different perspectives. But I figured when we talk about our Love Interests in the Mass Effect saga, we could also talk about WHY we like these characters.
Sure. For ME1, I leaned toward Liara. I'll be honest, she was a Bookworm Virgin Alien in excellent shape, so it'd be hard not to pick her. Ashley had some interesting backstory which was a nice addition. To be fair, so did Kaidan, but his personality didn't come off quite as relatable.
For ME2, Morinth & Thane. Morinth was Dark, Sultry, and very Assertive. Too many of BioWare's romances in ME2 felt too cheeseball(or otherwise nonsensical) to me. Morinth felt more "real" in terms of writing compared to the rest. To an extent, I'd say the same about thane. They're tragic characters, and it's a breath of fresh air compared to the more "classical" personality types.
ME3? Chobot, as I'm clearly masochistic and looking for the worst possible concept for a romance.
Liara got the best treatment, the rest were not impressive.

For me I honestly like and enjoy all the romances. My two personal favorites are Liara and Garrus with Liara just barely edging out ahead. I just always got the feeling that those two were closest with Shepard and it made sense that during such a trying time they would find a small piece of comfort in each other.
But again, that could be applied to any potential romance. Liara and Garrus just felt "right" to me so at this point, I've seen all the others and enjoyed them but now on the rare occasions when I do play again, I just go with what I enjoy the most.

That's not a bad picture, my shepards will be dead however, most likely. Unless Control Shepard clones a new body connected to the Citadel mainframe through Quantumentanglement connections. Which would continue things.
Kids would be a nice filler in future Mass effect games. Even if the only kid shown in ME3 was kind of impopular.
