I am asking for help on behalf of another person on another gaming forum I use. Here is his problem:

"I am Stuck at when a lady asks - Are you a scavenger or intruder? in the
3rd level I suppose.then there are no choices or anything the game just
waits for a response and I have pressed every possible key. But
nothing..

HELP!!"

So basically, he's not getting any dialogue options with Morrigan and can't progress. He has tried reloading the save several times, but it hasn't helped.

He's on playing on pc and as a Dalish elf (if that matters at all).

I tried helping him out, but I play on ps3, so what I can suggest personally is limited.

I've never seen that bug. He may want to begin again (That's very early in the game and the Dalish origin is a short one).

Seems like a mod conflict to me. I assume he didn't feel the need to tell you which mods he uses, right.

It didn't come up, no. In any case, he apparently got so frustrated he started mashing the keys on his keyboard and it somehow magically continued the conversation.

So problem kinda-sorta solved... I think.
