Originally I gave up on Sentinel, because I could not figure out what to do with it.  It seemed like a hodgepodge of disconnected skills that didn't synergize very well, all interfering with each other's cooldowns.  Although Tech armor was potentially useful for a close-quarters play style, the lack of shotgun and a disabling ammo power seemed to make this class inherently inferior to a soldier hybrid for this purpose.

The key to making this class work for me was to include squad powers in the build (aided by the squadmate cooldown reset feature of tech armor!).  I usually have Jacob (squad incendiary + pull) and Miranda or Thane (warp) on every mission.  This way I can set up and detonate warp bombs (two in a row if needed) without interfering with tech armor cooldowns (and without spending points on slam).   I'm only at level 19 now, but planned final build is:

3 - throw (plenty for most purposes)
10 - heavy warp (5m usually plenty)
10 - assault armor
10 - area overload
6 - cryo blast (5 second freeze duration)
10 - guardian
1 - stasis (helps with assaulting enemy artillery)

3-point pull and 10-point warp from squadmates are always present, and hot-keyed. There is also always a squad mate with squad incendiary ammo.  These fill the missing gaps in the Sentinel skill set, and allow a somewhat Vanguard-esque play style alternating between CQC (using Assault Armor and shotgun) and midrange flanking/crossfire (using SMG and triple combination biotics). Although definitely weaker at assault with a gun alone, warp or overload simultaneously with gunfire make up for much of this. Midrange combat with Locust is also just devastating (since the Sentinel can pull triple or quadruple power combos once defenses are down). Anything down to health bar either gets frozen and shattered, or blown to hell by a warp explosion.  Or both.

Here's an example (level 19 build):

Highlights:  1) This is the fastest I've ever cleared the platforms (1 min 15 seconds from start of combat @ 0:18), even with a Vanguard.  2) Many examples of using tech armor to reset squad powers (leading to devastating double pull-warp combos.  3) During the husk battle at end of level, I went for variety.  They get burned, slammed, frozen, pulled, thrown, and armor-blasted.  Enjoy.

^revised video with better middle assault sequence, and slightly less boring Praetorian battle…

In the past, I've used the damage boost of stasis on biotic classes to help clear artillery units. But it's actually pretty useful in its own right for shotgun assault, since you can immobilize units prior to rushing with a shotgun (either the rushed enemy, or a hostile bystander). Examples shown of both in revised vid.

Well that explains why I saw a new video from you posted on YouTube which appeared to be the exact same video you posted a few days before.
