 Ok here are my laptop specs

Windows 7 Home Premimum
Service Pack 1
Intell Core at 2.20GHZ
6GB
64 Bit Operating System
I think I have the Family HD Graphics card?

I encountred some lag, but I dealt with it.  I got all the way to Dormund Kass and now the game is neigh unplayable....  I don't understand it....

I've already

* ran TOR as Admin
* lowered all my graphics settings
* Tried Game Booster.....

I just don't understand it. I was getting my SI all the way to Lv. 14 and now the blasted red x is all I see. I have a pretty good internet connection.... I don't use a modem or a router, it feeds off the cable.... so that's wireless?

 I just really want to keep playing. I got my SI so far :blush:

What server are you on? Have you pinged your server to check latency?

Bring it up on the command line. Type ping and the IP address.

Check your cords. Try a lan line not wifi. Ping. Rule those out first. Then move on. Chances are its your ISP or distance from the server.

Use the command called "tracert", which shows the path data takes between a computer and a destination.

1. Go to command prompt (type "CMD" in run)

2. In command prompt type "tracert [website address]" (eg. tracert google.com)

3. Watch the routing fun as your packets are traced to the destination

A few weeks back, my game went wonky. Had to reinstall. It was a pain. Yet, it fixed the issues.

Looks like its your ISP. You can call them and ask them to ping you and see what the quality is for them. My best had to do that with his ISP. It kept dropping packets.

Would an uninstall possibly work?

Did for me. My issues were not lag related. But my husband had a major bug with some lag issues and he reinstalled and his is fine now. Could try.

Ah, I'm reinstalling right now actually. Hope it works.

From my specs above, they look good right? I mean I was able to play, but my ISP could be the issue?

I was shocked my laptop actually ran TOR actually

SWTOR game issues should be taken up with SWTOR Support. Thank you.

End of line.
