Yesterday I tried the Claymore on my Asari Huntress. My new favorite combo.

Depends on how you're playing. As a solo fury, you will be a little more cautious, and you need weapon power. Claymore is excellent. But I don't solo fury, because she is so much fun played recklessly CQC using AF-throw BE. Only a fast throw recharge will save your butt. So it's the old acolyte-hurricane, but I often go a full wave without shooting. I need a team to bring the heavy guns and revive me occasionally, but I pay my way against the non-bosses.

Don't really have an all-time favorite weapon but I do have favorite weapons per type:

Pistol: Talon. Love it on kits such as Slayer.

Shotgun: This one is a tie between Raider and Claymore.

Sniper Rifle: Javelin, easily.

Assault Rifle: Tie between Harrier and Lancer. Harrier because of the dps of it. Lancer because no need to hug ammo boxes.

Submachine Gun: Hurricane probably.

Yeah, I go through phases with her. Also really like the Wraith, and I like the Talon because of the Power mod and the Commando package. Claymore is probably the most satisfying, though (and it goes without saying that Warp IV+Claymore= goodnight everything)- but that's pretty much the case for any class (I played with a Claymore TGI last night- that was a first, and I can't even say I disapprove), because, well, its the Claymore- its big, its loud, and it pops heads like a teenager pops zits. :o

LOL, you described the Claymore so well. :D

Agreed that it is more satisfying. Gonna have to try the Talon with her though.

Claymore is powerful, fun and I find myself using it a lot. My favorite shotgun is still the Wraith though, for me it is the overall best weapon due to its combination of accuracy, high damage and low weight.

My all-time fun favorite is the Falcon, bank-shooting grenades to stun whole groups of mooks never gets old. It reminds me of the grenade launcher from Quake I, I hope they put a similar gun into the next MP.

Saw a drell vanguard with a claymore on platinum today. Thought he was going to be egg on a brick wall but he wrecked face with that thing. With correct use it can make many characters better.

Javelin.

I like sniping, and the Javelin has it all; power, accuracy, great scope. I like the delay too, you feel the shot going off. A very good designed weapon.

Totally this. I'd also add that even aesthetically the Javelin is gorgeous, and the sound-effects for it is just badass. Hands down the perfect weapon. :wub::wub:

Wraith X is 80% as powerful as the Claymore X, has much better accuracy, has 2 shots and does not kill the cooldown. The better accuracy alone means that Wraith X will do as much damage with its 1 shot as the Claymore X does at medium to far ranges. Claymore is amazing but no way in hell it is better than the Wraith.

My favorite weapon is indeed the Wraith X.

Although I use Claymore on Krogans, wraith seems too small for them

Bwahahahahahaha.

On topic, it's the Talon, but that's not really a secret. I love pistols, and I love shotguns.

 Crusader X.

It's like the finger of a mean ol' drunk god: sometimes you can't hit a pretorian in front of you, sometimes you're achieving headshots from the other side of the map, outside the reticule's reach.:?
What can I say? I like the chaotic nature of the slug thrower.

Crusader shoots where your reticle was 0.2s ago. Basically, you cannot switch between targets too quickly.
