I suspect that my first Inquisitor will make a ton of mistakes, so despite any effort, hopes, or dreams I might put into it, the first one is always the pancake you throw to the dog.


As for favorite race, all of them. Picking one would be like picking a favorite pet. I just couldn't do it.

Qunari are my favorite race in Dragon Age Origins because they are the most original.

That said, I'll be playing an elf in my first playthrough.

True thats why im always human first but this time its hard to decide. I might play human for 3-4 hours then start my actual character to see how much changes in that small amount of time

Yeah, I might do that as well. Hard to say, as I might want to go through all of the trials and tribulations once with my guinea pig. Hopefully it's awesome enough that I'll want to play through it for keeps with every other race option.

I just finally watched the Digiexpo gameplay demo, and must say, I'm intrigued. It's funny; the map icons and display totally remind me of a love child between Skyrim and State of Decay (the "?" symbols). Not that I'm complaining. Seeing that the game truly is not on rails makes me squee like no other.

But back on topic, favorite race is tbd.

Warrior is just too.... heavy for me. I might play a warrior for variety's sake though.

My favorite race are probably the humans, followed by the Qunari. I like the Qunari in particular because they look awesome and I am intrigued by the Qun. However, they need to do a complete 180 on their attitude towards mages.

Qunari because I can't wait to see the reactions of everyone ... Followed by elf, because yep, I just love underdogs coming to power. Then comes the dwarf because I think they are cute.
I guess I will play as a human at some point, too, but that can wait. Humans are too common, plus I already am one IRL.

What do you mean by "heavy"?

You know....It just doesn't give that feeling of cunning agility I get when I play a mage or a rogue.... They're slow for their heavy armor and weapons.

Well I don't have a favorite, I love Elves/Dwarves/Qunari in different ways and will do multiple varying class/race/gender combo playthroughs. I might even play human eventually, unless it will add me to their telemetry data of "80% play human" or whatever, then I'll skip it. I do like my first playthrough to be the most downtrodden and descriminated combo which used to be mage/elf but might now be mage/Qunari.
