Human
Because I said so.
I have no doubt I will play them all and they will hopefully all be pretty different experiences. I tend to like non-human races, and the more non-human the better. Hence, I suspect my first playthrough will be as a qunari, as long as, they are vashoth. Will she be the "best" inquisitor, I guess that remains to be seen. My first choice isn't always the one I end up liking the most.
Favorite is Elf.
Best Inquisitor - Qunari, because well. Qun. Won't get swayed from his goal by some petty interests.
Dwarves are my favorite race because I find the culture the most interesting.
That aside I'm leaning towards a Qunari for my first play through.
1 Qunari
2 Human
3 Elf
4 Dwarf
Qunari.
Qunari>Elf>Human>Dwarf.
Humans I guess. Thanks to the Spanish and Warhammer 40k Inquisitions.

So far, Human. Seems closest to an "Inquisitor" background (assuming any of it has something to with "surfacer" based political and religious issues). Why the Dwarves care, I don't know. Elves may be my second choice. I don't know anything about the Qunari backstory in this context, but the idea on it's own is confusing. I don't understand what the hell a Qunari inquisitor is even supposed to be. Seems they're being included for outside reasons.. because of fans. Except those are usually fans of the Qun. Not the Kossith specifically.
Looking forward to different character possibilities though.

I reason along similar lines.
For humans my favourite race is Chinese. For elves my favourite race is mexican. For Qunari my favourite race is beefalo

I thought Elves were Irish?
Welsh.
Humans or Qunari. It depends from the result in DA:I.
Human
Elf
Qunari
I'll consider playing a Dwarf if it has the option of making its physique not so bulky like Thorin Oakenshield(although, I highly doubt it would have that option)
human because human
I get the feeling this game is going to be more "elf-centric" than the previous ones; so I will be going with "elf" as the main race.

Care to explain? I thought it'd be human centric. They didn't even have elf protagonist options until recently, I thought. The game was supposed to be out sooner, because it was originally human only.
I expect more on elven lore/lands though, for sure. Sounds like there will be plenty to explore for anyone.
Something about the various concept arts focusing on the "tomb of the old gods" and the ancient elven city, that and Morrigan being back when she last took off into the eluvian.
I mean none of this is "heavy" proof or anything. But I just got the feeling that elven lore was going to play more into this game than the previous ones.
I suspect that my first Inquisitor will make a ton of mistakes, so despite any effort, hopes, or dreams I might put into it, the first one is always the pancake you throw to the dog.
As for favorite race, all of them. Picking one would be like picking a favorite pet. I just couldn't do it.
Not for me, as I'm a spoiler hound.
Also, probably Dalish. Which means I'll have three factions to advance, which should be interesting.
I will do every race as a female and decide which is best for me.
Pretty much this. Though with M/M options I tend to throw a male PC in there after a few playthroughs or so. Still, 'Human' always goes first.
I like Asians since they're often pretty hardworking, and that's how they would make the best inquisitor.
