[The Ascendant]

The inclusion of multiple races is a better attempt of Origins to give unique and different experiences in the myriad situations we will wind up in Inquisition. E.G. When you return home after being recruited by the Wardens ( Orzammar, Circle Tower, The Alienage etc) you are treated to an Origin specific reaction by your companions and NPC's. No doubt the same will occur for our Inquisitor. How will an Orleasian court act towards a human/elf/dwarf/Qunari or a mage. How will elves or dwarves or even Qunari react to seeing their own race or a different one controlling a powerful international organisation and potentially deciding the fate of the world. I am not going to make any decision until I get more information detailing the Origins. If they released trailers like the first game giving us a little insight in who the PC was before becoming the Inquisitor that would be nice.

What do you mean by ' best Inquisitor'? That's like asking which Origin gave the best Grey Warden, it's for the player to determine that.

Hmm probably my canon inquisitor will be a qunari warrior but the knight enchanter appeal me so i will also try an elf mage.

I always do my default human playthrough first but I got to say, I have a feeling I'll enjoy playing as a qunari the most. I mean look at this concept art



A qunari inquisitor just has this commanding, intimidating presence about them. Since DAI is more about the power and control you have, I feel like I need to play someone who looks powerful.  Someone who could strike fear and demand obedience without uttering a word. I loved the Arishok in DA2 for this reason.  You knew he was really p*ssed  when your ignorance forces him to stand up from his throne. That's how you know someone is a force to be reckoned with, when the act of standing up causes an "oh sh*t..." moment.

This is EXACTLY why my first inq will be a male vash-mage. it annoys EVERYONE on Thedas. Normally I would pick humans (as I do an almost every game that let me choose races) but this time will be different.

 

And I can't miss to be a badass mage muscled like a wall.

I will play as a Human male warrior just like all the other dragon age games. Because I can relate to my character and because I always enjoy playing as a human in games where there are other races, maybe because I like "showing" them what humans are capable of,etc. This will be my character hopefully:

My go too race has always been Dwarves (female mostly)! However I will most likely be a Female Qunari (need more details on the specializations first before I decide class)!

So, on that note, it's a three-way tie between dwarf, Dalish, and Qunari as far as immediate desires for playthroughs. No real reason other than human appeals to me the least since I already play one 24/7.

City elf was my favorite as well. The origin story was much more appealing to me but Dalish have a lot more lore surrounding them which makes the choice understandable.
