I finished the mission tonight that opened up my class specialization.  After going to the selection screen and choosing Shock Trooper (As a Vanguard) an error message immediately listing a long number of files and gibberish and my game crashed.  This has happened every time I've tried to learn my specialization.  I have a digital copy of the game. 

The game runs fine still if I skip that mission, but I would really like to be able to do it.  Is there any way to correct the problem?  If it's reinstalling, will I lose my games, or can I transfer the saves somewhere else for that?

1st, generally digital providers provide methods to verify your game files (for instance, Steam you can right click, properties, verify game cache). If such a method does not exist, re-install.



No, Re-install does not wipe your savegames.
