I recently got the urge to play ME again, and not just any particular part but a whole full run. The problem is I would also like to relax a bit more while I play and the mouse and keyboard dont really lend themselves for that. I have the whole trilogy with all the DLC on PC and as some of you might know BioWare games dont support controllers for the PC versions.

So I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen both PC and PS3 versions and played them and how they compare with each other? WOuld it be worth to get it on ps3 or should I just stick with what I have? Of course I dont want to spend the £100 or so getting all the games and dlc but sometimes doing what you like requires sacrifices. I am in UK so maybe if someone wants to sell all of the stuff cheaply or has a way of getting all of it on ps3 for less than the standard price I would be interested.

Stay on PC, PS3 is the worst version of the games.

Also, you can get beautiful texture mods on PC that make the game look incredible, and a mod that completely changes the ending

I'd say stick with the PC version.  I am primarily a PC gamer and when I tried playing Mass Effect 2 on PS3 I just couldn't get a handle on the gamepad as it just didn't feel precise and controlling squad mates felt much longer to implement actions.

I have the 360 version and the PS3 version of the trilogy (CE's on Xbox. Trilogy set on PS3) and it is definitely inferior on the ps3. Framerate issues galore on ps3.

If you have a game pad that hooks up to your computer it might be possible to use JoyToKey or another program to set ME to work with a controller. I'm not sure if it'll actually work for ME, but it's something to look into.

I have tried the program to map the keys to a controller but while in dialogues, menus and just general running around is ok, driving and combat is just bad. Yeah I will stay in pc then. I moved recently and my old pc table got broken so before I play I need to get a new table. I got the HD mod for ME1 but I am not sure I want to use them in ME2 and 3 considering both of those games are on origin.
