In one of my DAO adventures I played a Mage who was most mischievous and seemed to have a go with just about all the available companions. But I wonder if DAI will let my next character go behind the back of a main steady and enjoy having another special friend and then could I keep both of them in the dark so they would have no idea what a sleazy two timing scumbag I want my character to be

DAO: marry Alistair then keep either Leliana or Zevran on the side. They even acknowledge it in DA2
DA2: If it's just sex then you could potentially have sex with all 4 LIs
ME3: hook up with Snookie alongside your LI

I'm sure they will allow you to be mischievous as a way of storytelling. There are precedents in Bioware games.

They should create an LI that we find interesting before we can cheat on them as i found no person interesting in DA2.

As long as you, in turn, can find them cheating with someone else like in a telenovela.

What would be even neater is if your LI could cheat on your PC with another companion or NPC, and depending how you treat him/her, could even leave you for someone else if your relationship score is not high enough. That says that the mightly Lord/Lady Inquisitor isn't almighty powerful that forces every romance-able companion to fall to his/her knees in adoration.

Yeah, that was bad..."lol Shepard I can't even go six months without you (even though you were jailed and I didn't bother messaging you) so I hooked up with this lady with really shiny arms. Oh and she's pregnant and we wanna name the kid after you"

Ouch, Jacob. Ouch.

EDIT: Also he was the only LI in ME2 to tell Shepard he loves her.

I hope so, I love love triangles and it is such an interesting aspect to the companions and story. And a cheating LI sounds crazy, I love it!

1)There are more than 6 Jacob fans.
2)I gave a damn, and I'm not a Jacob fan (he's my least favourite companions in the IP). There were no reasons to do what they did. It wouldn't have cost more to make the same (not that it was great) content they made with Jack. It was just plain stupid.

He has fans? I thought they only exist in legend? 

Although to be serious, He did have some fans but the majority had abandoned shipped once ME3 comes out. It technically makes you feel like you choose wrong for romancing someone who would cheat on you, although those who romance LI in ME1 then doing it in ME2 are basically doing the same thing to Liara, Kaidan, and Sasshley. Hopefully, it doesn't happen to the LIs in DA series.

Yeah because peoples never cheated on someone what a ridiculous idea born in devs head that don't have place in reality... .To be honest despite his fans whines idea was good for first time li was cheating on you as in real world would.

I thought Isabela was a pretty good option. Her romance path is a bit wonky in the story, but I liked her character. She, along with Varric, were basically the fun ones of the group (liked to drag Merrill along though). That and she had a rather contagious laugh.

It wasn't stupid, it was realistic. Somebody being an **** and cheating on a protagonist is great actually. In a wrong way.

Bastila cheated on Revan with Malak and Knights of the Old Republic is one of BioWare's most celebrated games. I don't see the problem with it.

Yes, blame the truthful Jacob from ME2, which writers felt wasn't necessary, so DRAMA it is folks!
