I don't see how that solves anything. You've still got half of a secret project sitting in the middle of the Presidium.

Everyone assumed it was art, obviously.

The current advanced civilizations viewed the Citadel half of the Conduit as a piece of artwork. Perhaps it was built in that guise by the scientists before they departed for Ilos? Edit: Ah, durasteel, you said it before I could...

As far as the keepers controlling the Citadel between cycles, their role was to adapt the Citadel to any races that found it and were obviously non-threatening and important to the functioning of the station. The core of the Citadel was supposedly inaccessible to anyone/thing other than the Keepers. Until Chorban developed the scanning tool, any time a keeper was bothered it would shut down (or self-destruct - I don't remember exactly).

Who's to say it wasn't moved there by the Prothean team?

Could nobody besides Kaiden feel the energy being emitted from that mini-relay? If so, why could nobody investigate it?

Does anyone see how possible it would be to inform Wrex of the shroud sabotage and still kill mordin?

Because prothean art is deep, man.

Then we're back to the Protheon team on Ilos moving a relay to the citadel and then going back to Ilos to walk though the Ilos relay only to end up right at the spot on the Citadel where they were before. :D

Truth was revealed way back in 2008 where the devs told us that you were originally going to end up in the core of the Citadel where the master control console and also the keeper breeding facillity are - but due to time pressure they didn't get the area done in time (that area was later changed and reused in the "bring down the sky" DLC).

Oh, I meant move it from some construction area still on the Citadel to the spot on the Presidium after they jumped through it. Perhaps, they did it as some lasting monument to themselves.

It's not inconceivable. But you'd think if they had the capacity to do that they'd have had the ability to leave some kind of clues behind about what the thing was. A star chart showing Ilos, even. Actually, that's a problem wherever the thing was.

I meant something physical on the Conduit itself. Like this, perhaps?

Eh, no idea. Although I've had always hoped for a sort of "Last Days" DLC where you get to play as several Protheans during all the important events of the Reaper invasion in that cycle. And it answers all those nagging questions left from ME1.

One scene that still stands out as particularly goofy is the one where Shepard and TVS are talking after defeating the first wave of Cerberus Troops on Mars. They are in a presumably dangerous area, overrun by enemy soldiers and they just causally put away their weapons, take their helmets off and chat for the entire elevator ride. Not that they dialogue is especially bad, but it's as though the action just stops for some largely unneeded exposition.

I did like the part on Mars where FemShep manages to convince the all-male Cerberus troops that she is part of them.

It's the kind of plan a seven-year-old would come up with. Maybe Shepard was already channeling the brat.

It makes it all the more funny when TIM states that the Cerberus troops have been improved, when it's clear that their intelligence has been reduced to novice VI levels, and they don't appear physically stronger for it.

If they invested their resources into those mechs from Omega DLC instead of the ever-expanding Ivory Mook Brigade, I suspect they'd be far more effective. I mean, look at the tidal wave that pours out at the end of Jacob's mission, and they're helpless to down a single shuttle craft.

Just f***ing ridiculous. But I guess that was the point.

Probably because we don't see nemeses and phantoms until later in the game.

At that point in the game the female Cerberus units had yet to be encountered and Eva Core was on their side of the tram way. There is probably a logical explanation for why they fell for such an easy trick but while playing the mission it does come off as really silly.

Also, you would think Cerberus which otherwise is some sort of super organization would have a way to confirm that it was indeed a ruse.

I totally forgot about that scene. Whenever I get to the end of the game I turn it off before it gets to that point. Dreadful work.

I imagine many do.

Why would Cerberus troops need to vocalize at all? Wouldn't they be networked?

Reminds me of that creepy YouTube video about that transhumanism advocate who got an implant in his arm synced to one in his wife's arm allowing them to share nerve impulses. One person feels it, they both do.

They came ready to attack. There was a bomb they hit that stopped the. They seemed to actually know she was there and then they came gunning. I am sure they knew it was not one of their crew.
