I don't see how that solves anything. You've still got half of a secret project sitting in the middle of the Presidium.
Everyone assumed it was art, obviously.

Could nobody besides Kaiden feel the energy being emitted from that mini-relay? If so, why could nobody investigate it?

Who's to say it wasn't moved there by the Prothean team?

Then we're back to the Protheon team on Ilos moving a relay to the citadel and then going back to Ilos to walk though the Ilos relay only to end up right at the spot on the Citadel where they were before.
Truth was revealed way back in 2008 where the devs told us that you were originally going to end up in the core of the Citadel where the master control console and also the keeper breeding facillity are - but due to time pressure they didn't get the area done in time (that area was later changed and reused in the "bring down the sky" DLC).

Oh, I meant move it from some construction area still on the Citadel to the spot on the Presidium after they jumped through it. Perhaps, they did it as some lasting monument to themselves.

It's not inconceivable. But you'd think if they had the capacity to do that they'd have had the ability to leave some kind of clues behind about what the thing was. A star chart showing Ilos, even. Actually, that's a problem wherever the thing was.

It's the kind of plan a seven-year-old would come up with. Maybe Shepard was already channeling the brat.ImaginaryMatter wrote...

If they invested their resources into those mechs from Omega DLC instead of the ever-expanding Ivory Mook Brigade, I suspect they'd be far more effective. I mean, look at the tidal wave that pours out at the end of Jacob's mission, and they're helpless to down a single shuttle craft.ImaginaryMatter wrote...
It makes it all the more funny when TIM states that the Cerberus troops have been improved, when it's clear that their intelligence has been reduced to novice VI levels, and they don't appear physically stronger for it.DeinonSlayer wrote...

Stargazer scene should get honorable mention, at least.
I totally forgot about that scene. Whenever I get to the end of the game I turn it off before it gets to that point. Dreadful work.

At that point in the game the female Cerberus units had yet to be encountered and Eva Core was on their side of the tram way. There is probably a logical explanation for why they fell for such an easy trick but while playing the mission it does come off as really silly.
Also, you would think Cerberus which otherwise is some sort of super organization would have a way to confirm that it was indeed a ruse.
