Oh also, does anyone know if incinerate 6a freeze combo actually does 100% more damage? I never feel like it hits that much harder with cryoblast and I might go with armor damage.

 

I seem to remember that it was tested, and it actually does work.  The difference in theoretical maximum DPS you can get is higher if you take the 100% damage bonus evo, and it really shines against mooks.  It helps a ton if you're trying to get Cryo detonations.  Against bosses, you will get more damage if you are able to alternate Cryo with Incinerate, however when things are hectic and you don't have time to alternate powers, your damage output will be higher with the armor damage evo. 

 

EDIT: I usually take the 100% damage bonus evo because I pretty much Cryo Blast anything I can, whenever I can.  Also, if your cooldown is low enough that you can sneak in 2 Incinerates in the Cryo debuff window, that's when the combo really shines.

what happens if you spec her for Shock Turret  +  Flamer Evolution 6 ?

Does the Turret do both at the same time?

Or does the flamer come at the expense of shock

Yes, she is.

 

Cryo blast doesn't prime anything except health => useless

Incinerate is only good for crowd control => useless

Sentry turret => useless

She's weaker than most of the engineers but definately ok for platinum.

That sentry turret is pretty bad though, I always skip it.

And now (that I am OP myself  ) I am trying the allegedly weaker characters, 

regardless of who is on top of the scoreboard at the end.

 

So I chose her and took the turret. She really is fun. 

 

But I did not take shock PLUS flamer - has anyone tried it and seen it do both at the same time??

If you insist on using it then shock, AP ammo, flamer are the best evolutions.

It's very mediocre though.

I wasn't being serious. That was just me quoting "myself". I can't remember who I was channelling at the time, but the poster made those ridiculous comments .

 

The QFE is actually one of my favourite kits.

Well, it does a ......  job.

It actually does something and draws the enemy's attention - even after all these "aggro" nerfs.

 

And I still could take weapon damage 10% in Quarian Defender

and put a few points in fitness even.

 

So I can recommend that.

 

Used the Arc Pistol on her.

 

She even ended up first in a gold-PUG that had a TGI Harrier X.

Might have been luck though. Dunno. 

 

 

So she is viable for Plat - but she really should have more "difficulty scaling" with her powers.

The only thing that scales on her are the cryo explosions. 

If the turret scaled, too - she probably would be my favourite character.

But I took a 46664 QFE, specced for all power damage & a Talon, into a Gold lobby that got changed to Platinum at the last minute. Not only did I survive but I also scored 2nd highest. Of course, I had a GT, GJ, and a Krolord keeping me alive. :-)

66653 is fine for Gold or Plat. If you're soloing you're going to run cyclonic most of the time anyways.

The idea that the QFE needs a special build on plat is shocking in and of itself. It's armor spam mode, and she melts armor, especially with incendiary ammo.
