The interior actually resembles a functioning space ship now. It's definitely leagues ahead of the dull SR1's design.

I hope they've improved the scale of the ship in the sequel. In ME1 the interior of the Normandy seemed far bigger than the exterior allowed for, and now it appears that the interior is even lager...

In the OXM interview, they said that the new normandy is more like th enterprise, and the old one they equated to the millenium falcon

Er... The Enterprise is about 50 Millenium Falcons. That's a massive ship. Unless you're talking TNG, then it's more like 200. I get the comparison, though.

Millenium Falcon is like the SR1, except the Millenium Falcon is a BAMF ship with style and SR1 is a dull turd in comparison.
SR2 is a kick ass ship that's about the size and awesomeness/coolness of a Correlian Corvette.
