I for one definitely would! Why haven't they considered this? They already have done this with Tomb Raider if i'm not mistaken. Plus it would make it very easy to import game saves into the next ME title. Who thinks this is a good idea?

I think the current state of the art would need to get a bit more advanced before I'd consider it.

They should wait some time. Use it as something to keep Bioware's name relevant between next gen titles several years down the line from now. (Sort of like MS did with Halo Anniversary....or any HD update for that matter. Tomb Raider was updated so soon because it just had the benefit of being released in a transition year.)

Either way, I'll cry tears of joy the day they announce this.....if ever. I'll cry if they don't.

Maybe, ME1. The other two have good enough graphics.

Be interesting if they made a version of the trilogy using the Frostbite engine.

If it were in Cryengine 4 I would play and buy the crap outta ME1 and ME2.

ME3????

I'd prefer to think my "journey" came to an end after I defeated the collectors with the dirty dozen.

But yeah, ME1 and ME2 in Cryengine 4 would be amazing. I mean, have you seen Ryse.

Holly rusted metal batman!! That game is eyegasmic.

I think this series should just stay the way it is, don't make re-worked version of it, because most of the time, they aren't tested for bugs.

I thought the graphics were great, especially 2 and 3. And playing the last 10 minutes of ME3 with better graphics would still be a turd. You can put a cherry on it, still a turd.

Not yet. In several more years, maybe.

Hopefully several years from now there will be a release of the ME trilogy with updated, consistent gameplay across all three games, upgraded, high-resolution graphics and sound, and all DLC. (Maybe with squadmate dialogue added in). I'd pick that up.

It'd be cool if (whenever or if they ever do this) they added extra incentive for old fans to pick it up by adding new scenes with the cut dialogue (ME2 squadmate Priority Earth as well as Ash and Shep talking about life after death... Those things come to mind)

Screw graphics; animations are far more important. The game could look like a PS2 game for all I care, just as long as the animations were perfect.

It'd use Frostbite if anything, just like all of the AAA EA games from now on.

FrostBite is one of the top engines currently out there. I can't wait to see Mass Effect powered by it.

Graphically, CryTek/EA/Ubisoft are going to have fantastic generations by graphical standards. (CryEngine, FrostBite, SnowDrop)

I would. My new consoles need some RPGs damnit. Even if they're old ones.

Sure, just as long as it has story quality better than what it currently has. Otherwise, I'll just play it on my PS3, that I never stopped owning.

If they did that, I'm even more sold.

What's wrong Bioware? You don't like money?

I'd say no. Would you watch a shot-for-shot remake of The Terminator with improved special effects? Speaking only for myself, I'd say no to that hypothetical. I would want to see more substantive improvements to elements beyond the visuals (i.e. narrative, dialogue, interface, etc.) before I'd be willing to spend money on this kind of thing.

I would replay ME without next-gen graphics. I think it still looks fine.

If I had the time. So many games in my backlog, so many new games coming out. I just don't feel like I have the time to devote one hundred hours to the trilogy.

Just to point out, Snowdrop is specific to The Division. It isn't Ubisoft-wide.

Watch Dogs uses Disrupt, AC still uses Anvil (Anvil Next, but same engine), think The Crew uses something else.

I'd agree, but I'd add whatever Square Enix used for Final Fantasy XV.

I don't have any regrets. Some titles are entertaining. And I had money to spend at the time. It was like this with every other console purchase too.
