IDK about the killing efficiency on all kits but it can turn Platinum into easy mode for a lot of kits.

This is true as Salarains are food and thus the Venom is food.

OT:  OP, there are very few kits in the game that aren't complimented by the Venom.  It's truly amazing.

Drell Assassin
The goal here is to debuff spawns or clusters of mooks with the Recon Mine, hit them with a charged Venom shot to kill them and prime the survivors for a Tech Burst, then throw a Homing Grenade at them to detonate it, and lastly cloak+detonate the mine if there's anything still standing. It works well with Incendiary ammo, too. If you're going to play Plat with it, I'd suggest throwing on something light like a Hurricane as a secondary.

My Quarian Male Engineer build

Shoot a charged shot into a spawn, detonate with Arc Grenade, then finish up with an Incinerate Tech Burst. Anything left will die with another Venom shot or two.

Tactical Scan bosses and continue to rotate the power combos and you'll see them melt pretty fast.

Well, venom is awesome. Here are some of my favorite builds in case you're interested:
Drell Adept
Phoenix Adept
Salarian Engineer
Melee Turian Saboteur
I can post a lot more because venom is my favorite weapon, but I'll restrict myself to these four lol. Have fun sending enemies flying all over the map.

So I gave it a try yesterday and I love it, I played it for 3-4 hours nonstop because I was having so much fun.
