That's something I've been asking myself these past many weeks, Soronnar.

Maybe these people are just really, really, really impatient or bored? Or perhaps they think that they will actually make characters like those they've posted on these threads, despite the wait being still several months? Who's to say they will remember all they've posted?

IMHO, people should wait till August or September to go on about this stuff. The last month or so will just fly by.

I'm more surprised that the mods haven't been locking them left and right than their actual existence.

When DA: I is released it will be the people who post in these threads that will be the loudest in complaining that it is a massive disappointment and they couldn't make 'their' Inquisitor.

Or it is just for fun. It is fun speculate and create little threads like these as it helps continue keep excitement, endorse creativity and is just overall helps keep the fan base together. Also, I can't speak for others, but my picture of Vash is supposed to show his personality as a Joker on the surface but a serious kind person who will always chooses the option that will save the most lives. Of course I don't except to make him look like that (though given what we saw in DA II in both facial construction and rouge costumes could indicate I could get something close.

Exactly. I know the characters I post are not going to fit into the world exactly, so I leave them blank enough that they can easily mold with the circumstances.

It's also better to have fun speculating on your character than having the same arguments over and over again.

So many threads about "my inquisitor"...as if anyone is really interested.
Such threads are there for 99% of people to post and put their "great character idea" at display.
Not that others are interested in, they more interested in posting their ideas.
Epic boredom indeed.
