So, I checked up on the MAsked EMpire entry on Amazon.com to see if there was any newish info, and lo, there is a release date of April 8th.  Excellent.  I can preorder.  Even more Excellent.  A paperback.

BTW, has anyone else read his non-DA novel, "The Palace Job"? It gets too over-the-top for my taste in the second half, but it is written rather well and features some fascinating places and characters. If only the protagonist's name didn't have such unfortunate implications in German...

The Palace Job isn't the kind of thing I would normally read, but I had just finished Asunder and was having Dragon Age withdrawal. I'm glad I read it though, because I loved it (especially Desidora and the warhammer). So I think The Masked Empire is in good hands. I would kill to get an ARC of it.

I see Barnes&Noble doesn't have it listed as an upcoming Nook book either.

Which is sad, since that's how I got Asunder.

All of which is surprising as the publisher is Tor. Tor is generally up on the whole ebook thing. They are one of three publishers I know that regularly release ebooks without DRM.

Incidentally, they're also great when you don't live in the good ol' US of A and when bookshelf space is a premium.

don't suppose there is any news on this, seems there still is not a kindle version, It would be nice to know either way, if it is going to happen or if it is not. Though I have to say all the other books were on kindle seems weird that this one is not.
