Has anyone else caved and bought the soundtrack?
Some of the earlier tracks are nice enough, probably better with context - the character soundtracks are amazing though. There are some really long tracks, many of them 10 minutes long or so. Unusual for a game soundtrack.

At first I was disappointed - most of the tracks are a bit more orchestral, and I was hoping for the Vangelis/Bladerunner vibe the first one had. But a few tracks still manage to have a similar sound.

Wall said that Bioware wanted something darker than te last one, so he changed the style a bit

I am really impressed. Especially the character themes. They all seem to really "feel" like the character they represent and give their respective characters texture.

It's not that bad, more to my liking then the ME1 soundtrack.

I just grabbed it of iTunes, listening to it now. Really pleased with it. I liked the first OST, but this one definitely stepped it up.
