 So what race / class combinations does everyone plan to play out?

I for one, getting carried away like i do, will do every race and both genders 
These are the combinations I will most likely do:whistle: (mage combinations speculative until we see the spell tree's)

Human Male - Mage Elementalist

Human Female - Rogue Archer

Dwarf Male - Warrior Sword & Shield

Dwarf Female - Rogue Dual Wield

Elf Male - Rogue Dual Wield

Elf Female - Mage Debiliator/Support

Qunari Male - Warrior Two Handed

Qunari Female - Mage Controller Type

so 3 mages, 2 warriors and 3 rogues :happy:

In terms of a play order I would do Human Male, Elf Female, Qunari Male, Dwarf Female as my primary four, then do the others down the line

I think I may also use a different world state for the primary four, Human Noble Warden / Mage Hawke for Human Playthroughs, Dalish Elf Warden for Elf Female playthrough, I'd give the default world state a try for the Qunari Male and a Dwarf Noble world state for the Dwarf Female.

My Male Hawke's effect on the world state, besides the default would always be, Play a Rogue Hawke, Bethany Joins the Circle, Support the Mages, Ander's dies, Romanced Fenris 100% faithful

Qunari/Male/Rogue
Human/Female/Warrior

Human male warrior, most likely. Possibly human female warrior instead. Depends on which mood strikes me at the time. I don't replay games a fifth as frequently as most people heavy enough into video gaming to post on internet forums, so it'll be elven rogue of whichever gender I decided against soon thereafter, followed by a solid year or so before a third run.

I've just started my 6th and final run of DA II now xD

I tend to replay games of this nature once a year, I get heavily nostalgic and love to go back, and though the chance of mods in this one is slim, nice suprise with the PC versions is come back a year later and there's a good collection of mods to look at, which is why Origins has 9+ playthroughs

Though I have coincidentally, completed Origins and II on 360 and PS3 and PC, basically got them on 360 first, then that got the red ring of death, by that point ps3 had the games I wanted, so traded in 360 versions for ps3, then finished em on that xD, then eventually got a PC that could run them.

So to say i've had plenty of enjoyment out of this series would be an understatement

If a city elf - female rogue

If all elves are Dalish, then my first play through will be a qunari female mage
Then probably a human female warrior

I want my primary playthrough of the contain characters which reflect my true decisions and who I am at the time of play but I want to vary the character's place in the world so I can feel like the characters are different people (because they are).

Because I've been human in DA 1 & 2 (although I now have to repeat 2 because I've only now done DA Awakening), I'm going to need a new race and I want to avoid having another mage because I've felt biased towards mage-friendly decisions up until now (having been a mage and the brother of a mage).

So I'm going with a Male Dwarf Rogue (dual) to start as I think this is the next closest thing I can identify with.

However, I am dying to play as a Qunari so I'll probably have Female Qunari Mage as my 2nd.

And I always like to have a pretentious Male Human Warrior in the mix to look down his nose at everyone.

Which leaves me with a Female Elf Mage for my fourth, because we all know a Saarebas will have a different experience from a Bas Saarebas.
