Is a there difference between gold and platinum other than the enemy selection? Like, do enemies get more health or resistance?

Both for me. Getting not too far away from a maxed manifest. With plat, I have a half dozen go-to builds. Gold is for all of the others that are still fun to play.

Of course. Plat enemies have higher health/armor/shields/barriers, they hit harder and are generally more aggressive.

OT: I mostly pug gold as it's way more enjoyable than plat. I pug plat when I am feeling extremely bored..

Meh, Mostly gold when i was chasing challenges or trying something new.
Sometimes platinum. Or if im host - start in gold and if team is ok might do a plat game.

Gold mostly, occasional platinum with friends.

Gold for 2 reasons:

1: I like melee kits and they're more fun on gold (I generally find U/U/G is more fun than anything else anyway).

2: I've got a maxed manifest I don't need to put myself through the endless Banshess screams in platinum for the extra credits.

Six months or so after launch I pugged exclussively platinum, and after the new account only gold. If by any chance I get thrown in an ongoing game and it's plat, I will stay.

I only play plat, when I'm soloing. Gold is just more fun.

If you're willing to roll Acolyte, then you can melee every mook in plat in seconds.  Just make sure to spec or equip to be able to one shot platinum phantom barriers for maximum freedom, aggression and efficiency.  Use kalence or narida to check; need 4k barrier damage
