Haha, to be fair, I was relatively unaware of what was going on.  Stumbling through blindly to victory is best victory.  The changes are taking some getting used to, but I'm adapting pretty well.  How about yourself?

Didn't NWoD got rid of it along with the biblical origins of Kindred?

It's a bit hard to have generations when no one has any clue who was the first vampire.

Did it?  I just have heard that it makes you weaker, which I associate with higher generations.  Point remains!

Back in OWoD, being in Torpor meant you were blood starved which did lower your overral stats but only until a certain period of time after you awoke; given enough feeding, of course.

The real problem was that while you were sleeping, your enemies were probably active gaining experience points.

Actually, we do know that, at the very least.

Red Crossing, as an orlesian town, is unaffiliated with the international organization that is the Chantry. Orlais and the Chantry are two separate groups and even had there been incursion by Templars, the Dales would have still started the war with, specifically, Orlais by strucking the first blow against the nation itself.

 

Of course, to the elves, a human is a human regardless of affiliation. If they are at conflict with humans, they see that as a war against humanity itself. Hence why they say "the humans started the war" rather than "the Chantry started the war" or "Orlais started the war".

Queen Anora made an effort towards the elves of the Alienage, but it's simply an issue of King Alistair making the better effort (and the more controversial one) by giving the elves a seat at the royal court. Anora also has ambitions to build a university and restore the royal coffers; she's an intelligent and capable leader. I think she's quite progressive, and I'm of the opinion that Anora and a personality hardened Alistair can accomplish a lot together.

Trying to go back on topic (sort of), in the case the war between mages and templars won't end in DAI, and you can exist the help of mages and templars, who would try to streake a ceasefire and enlist both?

I will definitely try to enlist both.

It's called "logic".

Red Crossing is an orlesian town. The Templars mentioned, if they existed, were soldiers of the Chantry.

Therefore, Red Crossing is unaffiliated with them.

Good idea. Some of the discussions are getting a bit circular. I'm honestly not of the opinion that there's much common ground that can be reached for the templars and mages who want the complete opposite of the other, so it would depend on the leaders in question. If the leadership for the mages and the templars I'm reaching out to is more moderate, it could be possible. However, it's also a question of the protagonist I'm playing as, as well as the racial background I've chosen (and whether or not my character is a mage).

I'll do the same (forgot to add it in my post). It seems (for me) the most reasonable thing to considering the current situation.
