Having played most Bioware games, I've learned that there is usually a place to talk to your companions and that you should catch up with them after major events to get their opinions.

That was certainly so in the KotORs but I don't remember anything like that in the NWN games. There were often places where potential henchmen hung out and which were convenient for piling up excess loot but nothing like the Ebon Hawk. Don't know anything about the MEs, though.

Its been almost four years since I started to play this game (how fast time goes on...). After all this time I have never, NEVER had this random encounter.

Like you, I have met Old Tegrin times beyond counting. When will I have this random encounter I wonder...
