so, i wanted to edit my 2da files in a way that both kaedrin's prc and Enchanted eyes (monk version) would be compatible - since they both change the spells.2da and feat.2da files.

What i did was the following:

I already have kaedrin's prc files installed.
I checked the feat.2da and spells.2da files and found the new lines in the enchanted eyes zip file:

feat.2da: line 216 and line 2871 are modified
spells.2da: line 1708 is modified

So i copy pasted these lines to the 2da files in my override folder (spells.2da and feat.2da from kaedrin)

But...the problem here was that kaedrin's line 1708 in spells.2da is taken. So i decided to try and move the perfect_self spell to the line 1776 which was empty.

The result is that, when i make a monk lvl 20, he doesnt get the perfect self feat, which means i must have missed something... Any help would be really appreciated.

2das are tricky - especially the ones you're modifying since they depend on a custom dialog.tlk

so knowing that, modifying kaedrin's rows is not going to work unless you feel like overhauling a crapton of associated file dependencies.

and, not knowing what enchanted eyes actually is, aside from the inferred, making that one work with kaedrin's likely requires much less - OK just had a peek at the Monk stuff - unless you feel like rewriting the perfect_self.nss and the associated include.nss - this wont work - however, altering the monk stuff is by far preferable to trying to edit the prc pack -

but in a nutshell - they willnot function by merely copy/pasting rows from the 2das since both mods have dependencies that require them to have specific rows in their 2das.

well- i looked a bit more and there doesnt seem to be any indication in the scripts that would cause perfect self from working - but i will venture to guess that the feat that grants perfect self has a column with the spells.2da row number in it - change that to the new perfect self row number and bob's your uncle

that column is the SPELLID column change the 1708 to your new row - that'll do it for sure.

I managed to make it work after all... looks like the only dependencies between the two 2da files were in the lines i was attempting to modify - the reason they werent working was because somehow when i copy/pasted the lines some columns were deleted or something.

Had to use a 2da editor i found and manually copy all the entries on these 3 lines >_>

I also noticed that for some reason the feat.2da from enchanted eyes had less columns than my override's 2das... weird. Found the spellID column and changed it as well, it was easy with the editor.

Worked like a charm and my monks now will have freakish-looking eyes to prove they're not human (or elf or whatever...) anymore.

edit: might post a few screenies tommorow - thx for replying mate
