The difference between Krogan and Pyjak science is that the former is stronger and is going to eat the latter like a Thresher Maw eats ... stuff. To those who think this is too philosophical I'll point out that the Claymore is big enough to shoot Arc Pistols.

Lets go kidnap Xen and force her to make us Claymoars that shoot Arc Pistols and the Arc Pistols shoot Reegars and the Reeegars shoot Wraiths.

Trhuth be told, they are pretty close. When you look at their weight, and damage, I'd say the Arc wins because it's a lot lighter and still gets very close to Clay's damage.

On the other hand, I find it harder to score headshots with Arc, where Claymore is a little more forgiving due to pellet spread. If you strictly aim for the head, with Arc you'll miss sometimes, but Claymore will probably hit with a few pellets if slightly off target.

Then there's the one shot issue. Reload canceling almost completely negates that disadvantage. I'd say that the Claymore and the Arc are pretty close too when it comes to RoF (charged for Arc). The time needed for the Arc to charge for a next shot is approximately the time needed to reload cancel the Clay.

I say it's a tie, provided that you always go for the head with the Arc.

Arc pistol is an eloquent precision weapon; Claymore is a brute force of nature, overkill most of the time but satisfying as hell.

I prefer the Arc Pistol but the Claymore soothes my savage soul when I'm pissed and space aliens need to not only die but be dismembered.
