Hi im going to buy mass effect as i already have 2,3 for the ps3,what DLC is included in the ps3 version of mass 1 as i cant find them in the ps store on the add on section, are they included in the the game when you buy it from the store not on disc.
@silverserfer28, as far as I know, Bioware couldn't port this DLC for PS3 version because source files had been corrupted. Bring Down the Sky is available though.
Thanks for the response,,but i looked in the ps store for DLC attached to mass effect 1 for the ps3 but can not find any what so ever in there? the actual game itself is 10 GB WOW thats kinda big for a game with no multiplayer?
so im guessing it may be included as mass 2 had loads a DLC included with new copys.I will just get it anyways and find out .
Funny thing about Pinnacle Station while it is my least favorite DLC in the entire series and in my opinion not all that fun you can kind of tell they revisted the idea in ME 3 with the citadel dlc and the armax arena which is hell of a lot of fun. Go figure
In fact, I have a question about the Mass Effect (the first game) dlcs. I want to buy all of them for PC, but, I tried it in the Bioware web, in Origin, in Ea's web... I just can't find them. I'm sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to complete my ME collection, and... Well... It's being hard for me. I can buy the ME2 and ME3 dlcs in Origin, but... Could you help me to find a way to buy the ME1 dlcs, please? Sorry for my english, I know it's very bad.
The Survival missions are so easy that I had to deliberately get myself killed or they would have gone on forever. At one point I stopped moving and the team kept things going.
Even the dialogue is horrible and lifeless.
The shocking thing is that Demiurge, who did the PC port of the first game, made the DLC. With the brilliant job they did on the port, discovering that was a shocker.

Yes, anyways I want to complete my collection. If someone could help me to find a way to buy the Pinacle Station DLC for PC, I would be very grateful ^^

For PC, just search for it on Origin, you can buy it there. Though the price for its quality is kinda lol
It seems that if you can activate it on origin you get the 2 DLCs http://answers.ea.co...14029465335851{"originId": "", "avatar": "", "accessToken": "", "idToken": ""}
I just looked it up on Extras. It should still be there. Either that, or cycle through the downloads list on the XBox Live Arcade. It should still be available. You can get a decent weapon and a bunch of extra experience points out of it.
To anybody interested or curious about the DLC, unable to purchase it or uncertain if it´s worth a purchase, I recommend this video. It´s a full play with commentary. The player is quite frank and balanced in his analysis. It will give you a clear notion about Pinnacle Station.
To be honest, I only own it because my pc version of ME1 is the trilogy version, so it includes it. If not for that, and even the completionist in me would probably not want to purchase it. The only DLC I do not own for the trilogy is genesis for Mass Effect 2. But I do own the genesis 2 to mass effect 3 (it´s better than genesis 1 because you can choose if you wanna use it or not). But I dare to say that ME1 works better without it. Bring down the sky is ok, even though it has nothing to do with saren, benezia, the geth or sovereign.
While sanctioned by both EA and Bioware, being an officially recognized product and part of the trilogy, the entire experience feels not only out of place, but out of time as well.
It would work better if it was designed like the me2 dlcs. They can be installed and played after finishing the main missions, working as bridges between me2 and 3.
While I know that it would be too much to ask that an expansion only worked if a person had a completed file of the game, it certainly would not hurt to allow us to play it as a post-ending extra adventure. It would fit much better. But then again, most of the side-missions (specially the ones involving collections) do seem out of place considering the urgency in stopping saren.
It´s ironic that the difficulty in obtaining this dlc nowadays (being totally unavailable on ps3) is turning the most uninteresting part of the me trilogy into perhaps the most curious segment.
It was nice having easy access to enemies to kill to get power/gun achievements. Sucked not having such easy access in the ps3 version and having to multiple playthroughs to get them.
That being said, the DLC itself does suck, albeit I do like that apartment at the end. I never waste my time with Pinnacle Station unless I am playing Casual
thank you for pointing that out. I have purchased it myself today. Unbelievable that it is not available when you look at masseffect dlc. It only appears when you search for pinnacle station. Thanks again.
I know that I am in the minority, but I liked Pinnacle Station. Once Shep's level gets to the low 20s, I usually head there. I like the challenge and the level design is better than most of the combat in the rest of the game. Most of the missions require careful use of your squadmates in order to do them effectively and you may have to run them a few times in order optimize the tactics. Of course I abandon the Mako on Vermire and do the whole assault on foot too. That may say something about my mentality. Then again, I jump out of the Mako and try to kill everything on foot for the extra XP.
Ahern's mission is fun, but the rest becomes boring after awhile. I believe it gives a few war assets in Mass Effect 3. I am not certain. I think you would need to scan it. I do remember hearing, "Ooh! All pain! No gain!"
