Yes, I agree that it can be a bit tedious. In PvP the pace is quite fast and that's what I'm used to, nevertheless I felt it would be fun to challenge myself and get that banner, though I will probably not solo much from now on =p

Cogratulations mate Solos are really great to get better at this game as you have to abuse a lot of the game mechanics. I got my lone wolf banner a couple months into the Mp though

Congrats on the Solos. I lose interest and have never even done a Silver Solo. I have come close unintentionally but without the correct gear.

Thanks for the couple of games today you are obviously more comfortable doing a Gold Duo than me, especially considering you only have two medi-gels.

Yes, I believe you, but I'm more of a team player. I just don't find it as fun soloing as when playing with a team, I mean, having teammates is half the experience in my opinion =)

Well, I bet you will be able to do it the day you decide to do it, but if you don't feel like it then I don't blame you. It can be a bit tedious

Ohh, that gold duo we tried and failed at the end of wave 9 was such a troll. I did not expect grenades lying on the ground randomly just because Cannibals can't aim, I guess that's something new I've learned today, that even if you think you are safe then all of a sudden you can explode! =D

Btw, I got lucky today with my spectre packs, so I went from 2 medigels and 3 ops packs to 4 medigels and 5 ops packs now which means that next time we try a duo it might go a bit smoother. The silver duo with the Quarian Female Engineers were a lot of fun as well, really enjoyed playing with you =)

I don't really mind because if that's the way for them to have fun then by all means they can wave their epeen all they want. As long as I'm part of a team and we are all enjoying the gameplay, that's all that matters in my opinion

Actually, it wasn't too bad. I already had the vast majority of the links bookmarked personally, and the rest were helped gathered by friends. And now that it's all put together, folks occasionally submit new threads to be added and I vet them out and add them where they fit best.

I don't like soloing either, but as you say it is a different challenge which can be fun in its own weird way =p

I wouldn't have done the solo at all though if I hadn't been talked into it by a BSN member that I had some games with the other day.

A lot of people get a sense of accomplishment out of it.  I personally loathe soloing though.  I have done a few Silver solos grinding for weekend challenges, and I thought they were ridiculously tedious.  This week, I finally tried to do a Gold solo.  Every single one ended up with a Banshee teleporting through a wall and grabbing me or a Geth stunlock-fest in which I wasted almost all my medigel.  The last one, I tried to go down the back ladder in front of the LZ on Giant and got hung up on cover, then Banshee synced.  It was Wave 7 or 8, and I had used only one medigel and no other consumables.  All that work for nothing.  I can barely carve out an hour to play a couple of days a week, and wasting all that time soloing just kills me.  No more.
