I'm sure seduction would be more entertaining.
Oh I'd love to see the party reactions to this, they would be hilarious!

Diplomacy, Conquer, or Seduction. I like it! I would find it hilarious if you could seduce the leaders of a country or faction.
I want to see a Seduction check backfire just once. That would make for a great laugh.

Yuss! 'Specially if it landed Eluvianix in a dungeon to think about what he did.

I like both options, but as we've talked about, talking and/or seducing your way out of a situation has it's merits too. Most of my D&D characters over the years have had Fast Talk-like abilities and/or seduction skills. I think that Bioware will give us the chance to experience that like we have before, in some cases.

Funny as that is, we're getting a touch off track here.

It would certainly make sense to have a Seduction option for Orlesian nobility. I'd think that it would fit into Daes Dae'mar...er, The Game, better.

Just remember to avoid the cheese plate. Terrible.
And the ham tastes of despair.

To me, negotiating with the Qunari, for instance, is not a 'good' thing to do. So I would choose to fight them and free as many of their captives as I can.
However, I wouldn't torch a village of peaceful settlers, even if it were easy and negotiating something doesn't necessarily favor me.
In my more evil/renegade playthroughs, pretty much anything goes.

I will create an empire using mortar crafted from their bones if they resist me; And the streets shall be paved with the crushed rubble of the tombstones of the vanquished.
Those that submit shall be spared; But challenge me? And know what it is to face your doom.

Why not Seduction instead of diplomacy or conquest ?
You could argue that the three are clearly intertwined.

Did you not catch the comment about lining the highways with the heads of my enemies?
Building roadways with their crushed tombstones?
