Today I successfuly thwarted missile glitchers from completing 3 games in a row, because they weren't smart enough to kick me....

Surely you jest? Even cheaters aren't that dumb.

it's okay mrs. anomaly, for the longest time I thought the Talon was a terrible gun and hated it

I haven't used it ever. I've been thinking about trying it out. The Dragoons seem to be good at killing everyone with it lol.

Actually, Dragoons use a Hornet XXVII.

It's Guardians that use the Talon and for once their version is actually worse than ours.

Dammit! I thought it was a Talon. Ah well. I guess I don't know which enemies use which weapons  Except the Marauder and the Nemisis lol

Guardians use the Talon. You can see it easier if you take their car door from them. But bad things happen once they lose their car door....:crying:

The crosshair hits whatever it is aimed at. Which means, if there is a wall covering your screen, you only hit the wall, not what's in front of you.

I guess I still don't know what RHA is then :pinched:

You do. For example, if you are aiming behind a wall and your crosshair is aimed beyond the wall, which is the definition of RHA, it'll hit what it is aimed at only which means it will not make contact with the wall, although, Projectile weapons like the Acolyte do sort of recommend that you expose yourself a bit more because they will sometimes bounce off the wall where you are doing RHA.

This is the RHA (image not mine)

As you can see, the barrel of the gun is completely behind the wall. Bullets will always hit whatever the crosshair is aimed at, regardless of where your character is pointing the gun (if that makes sense)

Ok so you're saying you can aim at an enemy with your cross hair- if there's a walll or something in between the gun and the enemy it will still shoot true? As in shoot the enemy despite the barrier?

More common knowledge that some do not know is if you're hitting an enemy through smoke, walls, cover, etc a white hit marker around the reticle will appear it's like HM before there was HM. Very useful for leading Atlases through smoke and shooting enemies through walls without HM or Geth Scanner.

Wow. The bolded part is particularly funny, they were missile glitching on Gold for the first two games?!

Good work DC.

I've noticed and abused this often. I never heard the term though. People never talk in PUG's, frequently not even in the groups I play with online friends.

It's remarkable, maybe not surprising that you could get away with staying alive that long with the 'pizza'.

My confession: I kick people who play kits with Flamer, Snap Freeze or the TGI Harrier.

I also confess to occasionally.. using the Hurricane, but NEVER with the Acolyte at the same time. That's just way too cheap.

Yeah I dunno why they didn't kick me, they finally did after the 3rd failure. I just used the cover where u glitch off the map... thinking it might prevent them from achieving the glitch... seemed to work... although the N7 Striker Missile glitching Destroyer failed glitching off the map at least 100 times  after i was dead....

I like to use really OP combos and roflstomp a Gold game after multiple tough games doing a challenge on Platinum.

Also, I like to get noobs in my lobby so I can carry them to victory. If I play with friends I almost always use a kit to goof off with like melee or tech armor builds so I don't get bored.

I enjoy teaming with really bad PUGs in gold matches and grow bored when when teamed with friends and there is almost no risk of failure.

I have a gaming headset sitting right next to my PC which I haven't used once in nearly 1500 hours of playing ME3 MP.

Having played Gears of War games for years it comes at a bit of an (unjustified) shock that these things aren't common knowledge. :P

I obssesively look at the score board in the middle of the match every few rounds. Partly because I want to know if I'm on top and partly because I want to check if I'm slacking so I can motivate myself to play better. Ironically, I sometimes check mid-wave when I probably shouldn't.

Regarding RHA, the reason RHA works is that the bullets come from the screen, not from the muzzle of your gun.

A non ME3 example to illustrate how it works:

Resident evil 4 on gamecube:
Posted Image
Bullets actually come from the muzzle of the gun, which is why the aiming laser is needed on all the guns, since up close shots land further to the bottom left of the screen (nearer the gun), and long range shots land closer to the top right of the screen (further away from the gun). RHA doesn't work.

WII version of resident evil 4:
Posted Image
Bullets go from the screen to wherever the target croshairs are pointed. regardless of physics. RHA does work.

Notes: These are not my photos, but I actually do own both the Gamecube and Wii versions, I repurchased it for the improved controls and the extra levels.

The mechanics were changed to allow the game to make better use of the Wii's controls, and the WII version was one of the few games ported to Wii actually worth playing IMO.
