Similar to yours, I confess that I wouldn't have tried many of the kits I've tried now if I hadn't gotten stranded in the ecks bawks land. When I am back on the PC, I'll probably be wiser for it. Then again, I can snipe on the PC and use charge-up guns, so I dunno.
I kind of like the Disciple shotgun. Used it to complete the challenge... and I might keep using it.
I have been too afraid to try out my Salarians. I don't know why, huge Mordin and Kirrahe fan here.

Despite having the BotB banner, I'm not that good, and I get pissy at bad PUGs since I don't like doing all the work.
I'm not even asking them to be particularly good. I'm just asking them to not give me my 15 revives medal before wave 3 as a juggernaut, or to not somehow get grabbed in the first 10-20 seconds of every wave. And FFS, at least equip a GEAR bonus. If you don't have one to equip, please don't go into Gold/Plat, you know?

i still have yet to use the collector sniper rifle.
I dont spec into repair matrix. Also I still haven't deployed the TGI because I'm no scrub. Also I still can't figure out how to use the Saber which is kind of disappointing because it looks fun once you figure it out. Also still can't get the hang of the QMS, I give up!
Stick the Saber on the GE, or TGI.

The Ex-CerbGuard is a lot of fun... when not playing against Geth. Just tried him last night after never using him, "thinking" he was terrible. Only took me 2 years to try him.
Only had fun when using the Talon with lots of power amps though.
confession: i may on occasion shoot smiley faces on walls when using certain assault rifles and smgs. i did this today with the phaeston and another player actually observed me doing so.......then they added a nose. this happened twice. it was silly. 
l2tgi scrubThe SI is a fairly gentle intro to sniping. Just ED something to stagger it, then shoot. The Valiant is a forgiving gun; you get two extra shots if you happen to miss, and they all count for the cloak bonus (IIRC). It can also be quite the powerhouse, if you take proximity mine to at least 5 ranks for the damage debuff.
