I played a bronze pug with my Worlard recently.
And if that's not confession enough - I was fully geared for gold with lvl III equipment and Reegar X.
In fact I was searching for a gold game, but never got one. But I wanted to finish the last 15 Worlard waves for Bloodpack Mastery and didn't want to search any longer. So I went U/U/U and prayed for not getting platinum. Sorry pugs, but I tried to headbutt your bronze reapers very gently...

Yes. That was a big part of the enjoyment.

Though I admit I find the Reegar's short range to be a bit too much at times, even with the AIU's mobility. So I tend to use the Indra w/incendiary ammo and it works nearly as good and I can reach across the map. Which is useful becuase my teammates on pug matches never seem to notice Ravagers, Scions, etc. even when they're being fired upon.
I used to hate the Sh!tfire with a passion - like, it was my least favorite gun on the game. I also used to hate the Juggy, not because he's bad, but because I was not good at using him. I had even tried the Sh!tfire Juggy in the past, and I never liked it.
Today, I tried the combo again, doing everything I could to max Assault Rifle damage. I'll be honest - I thought it was great fun and pretty effective.

You want to start to like the Spitfire? Try it on kits with Marksman. Because, I actually like the thing a lot on the Quarian Marksman. Human Soldier is good, too, thanks to Adrenaline Rush. You get like a 70% bonus to weapon damage with that power. I really dislike it on the Jugg, to be honest. That guy is a lot more effective, when you go for Fire Explosions with Siege Pulses and a good weapon.

As a joke I used it on the Volus merc. It turned out not to be a joke. It's like a chubby walking Cerberus turret shouting, 'PAYDAY!' every now and then.

Not to mention you literally never have to reload.
I never remember to dodge under fire. I generally only dodge by accident. Especially when playing a class that can phase through walls. Then I have to stop for a second to figure out where the heck I am.

I can't stand the slow movement speed on those flimsy characters. That's one of the reasons I hate the Spitfire (and why I call it the Sh!tfire). I'd honestly probably prefer the Revenant on those classes.
Actually, I was using it on the Jugg with Incendiary Ammo, detonating Fire Explosions, and I thought it worked pretty well for that. The Spitfire is good at dropping shields quickly, and you can fire until you see the shields drop, then blast them with a Siege Pulse for a Fire Explosion. It's a little bit similar to using a gimped PPR or Typhoon, except you can use Siege Pulse more often because you don't have to worry about the ramp-up. Probably not the most effective way to use it, but it is effective, and it's the only way I have found to use it that I liked.
It works pretty well on the TSol. Cooldown is quick enough at level X that you wont have yet cycled through the clip, even with the extended clip mod. And the TSol is tough enough to take a few hits out of cover. In theory you could use proxy mine/conc shot as a detonator...but most things are dead pretty fast with that gun and character combo.
I just realized I haven't played a Vanguard since I completed the Best of the Best Challenge which was like 6 months ago.
I suck at Vanguarding.
1. I leave lobbies whenever I see a Talon Merc in it.
2. Sometimes, I love to steal kills from Puggernauts. Especially when I'm a sniper and there's a Phantom hanging helplessly in the air. I simply can't resist.
3. (silently) I used to dislike most of the Turian characters. 
But don't worry, I know better now.
4. I hate Geth. Probably the only enemy that makes me rage missile everything in sight (especially Rocket Troopers) and leave.
5. When there's a Slayer in the lobby I'm like this>

7. and a mean one: I enjoy watching some stupid, melee-anytime and everything-Krogan (or actually any character) get synced.

So true!! I originally wanted to add exactly the same sentence as you did, but then I changed my mind. So, after I see that they suck badly I'm something like this>
