So the underlying servers that we connect to seem to be fixed now and we're in the process of confirming that all aspects are functioning the way they should be. As a few people have mentioned it doesn't seem to be working 100% yet so we're trying to find out why. Since this is all rather old code and tech it takes a lot longer than normal to fix problems.

Same here. Didn't even start any new characters, just deleted some old ones that don't exist on my HDD anymore. Still, my stats updated to show 6/11/2014 instead of 2012.

Hmm.. for me it also says 'Last updated 2014-06-11' but I still have no new characters online. Well, at least I could delete the old ones.

It seems to be working, finally. It does take more than an hour to upload things, but it's happening. Thank you so much for fixing this. Of course, the equipment isn't uploading properly for my DA2-characters, but perhaps that's another issue altogether. Anyways, thanks again!

My new characters are showing up now. But their picture is not showing their current armor, but the boxes on the sides are right. A well, its better than nothing. :-)

Well the game does seem to be updating for me now.

Oddly however it is only doing so in a new PC profile that has been created!

I don't know why it decided to give me a second but I suppose I can't complain.

I'm wondering now if you have to play with each PC to get the data to show up.I'm only getting my main mage to show up, the one I've been playing with recently.I've also got a level 15 warrior that is no longer there, and I'll likely end up deleting that one as well.

I was able to get my new mage to show up, so I can confirm that you need to do each character separately for it to show up in the profile.

You may need to play your characters again to get them to show up. I'm not sure the extent of what wasn't working, the game part of the system is out of our control, so it may not have been uploading characters during the period it was broken.

The amount of characters I'd need to go through to get them all to show up is...quite a few.

Damn you Bioware folk for creating such a replayable game.

Well mine updates just fine, but my character's picture still shows him in his starting outfit with no weapons. Not the armor or weapons he has equipped. So it's not that big of a deal for me. I'm on the PS3, if that makes a difference. Sorry dude, can't help ya.

Not the end of the world but-it doesn't show my mage with any of the shapeshifter talents.I'll check again when I get Arcane Warrior but it may not show specializations.

I guess this is as good a place as any to throw this one out, but when I was playing this game years ago, I never understood why the weapon of my character wouldn't show up. It just shows as a broken image for some reason with no description.  If anybody knows why, would be awesome to find out about this.  The other issue I had before was screenshots where I upload screenshots and they do not ever appear.

The items with that broken image are rare and mainly from Awakening and other expansions. The profile doesn't take these icons from your game data–they're images on the bioware servers. I think the programmers did only forget to add an image for every existing item in game.

The screenshots do work now? If you can't test then it's pure speculation what the reason would have been …

I have no idea if the screens work now but when I played back then it was hit or miss.  There's probably no good explanation as to why it didn't work back then.  The items with the broken image though seemed quite an oversight!

In the same boat, kind of.  it shows all the achievements but 0 wardens.

I am having similar issues described by the posters above. I have read elsewhere that the trouble with uploading characters can be attributed to the persona ID generated when DA2 was played first. Is this related to the online server storage issue?

So. now that they revealed yesterday, that the Keep will pull over the uploaded information, I have to ask: Will this feature be moved to the Keep entirely or will it always work through BSN? It still doesn't work for me and as I see it, it doesn't work for most PC players.

 

Please some clarification, Bioware.
