I've been trying out Phasics on the Claymore recently and found them excellent on gold. The amount of armour on platinum lessened their impact but cryo blast helped out. I also wanted to complete a solo without an anti Phantom gun/power.
Shame I spelled vandelay incorrectly when I was doing my psn name. I'd happily give Sony money to change it. As for plat solos I reached a point with gold solos where the challenge was gone (I've no interest in gimped builds/loadouts) but I couldn't make that next step into speedrun territory.

I definitely prefer the deeper penetration of drill rounds to AP rounds. The double penetration makes Banshees go down real fast.

Devices weren't too bad but I lost my 10 waves survived to a Geth Bomber which was somewhat disappointing. I've had such a bad run with getting targets against Cerberus that I was pleased to get devices.

Finally was able to set aside the time to do this after a disconnection and magnet hands foiled my previous two attempts. Wanted to do this because the HDept is my favorite character in an alternate land where the Cabal doesn't exist (I'm going to redo that one eventually for a better time). Once I got the hang of spawn control during objective waves, this was a piece of cake.

Got so very lucky on wave 6 and was able to knock it out in less than 1.5 minutes (by my estimation) due to target switching and Atlases being dopey and sticking together for the rest of the time, just begging for a well-placed nuking 
Extraction wave was extremely stressful however, had no gels or oops packs so I had to wing it. Incendiary cheese coupled with the best area primer in the game and glacier makes for very rapid soloing, in spite of my seething hatred for reapers. I have a feeling RNG will never be this kind to me again so I probably won't make any repeat attempts
QMI with Black Widow. I hadn't soloed with a sniper rifle for a while, that was the purpose of this solo. Exploding heads is fun but I'm not a great fan of scopes for plat solos.

Invaderone was the creator of this thread in its present form, so you can be sure that all his platinum solos are in the archive. The fact is that there are nowadays a lot of entries and that several soloers have now done more platinum solos than Invaderone, it's maybe why you feel that he is underrepresented in this topic. But I reassure you, he is not.
@Presta : nice to see you post here again ! The solo is on Ghost Hazard, but don't mind, I will correct that myself.

A nice little coincidence that there is a thread asking about the Piranha on the front page, it's one of my favourite guns reminiscent of the ME2 Scimitar. Reaper wave 9 is right up there with my most hated waves, damn Husks.

I have now completed all vanilla humans.
Human adept platinum solo. But I'm such a noob !
Now that I have fulfilled all my objectives and no longer care about completion, I decided to change my playstyle and try to get the best possible time (sub 40 was my target). But I miserably failed because... I didn't cheese the hacks properly ! Lol, that's ridiculous. I estimate that I lost 5-6 minutes by kiting ennemies around the map waves 3 and 10.

I will redo this solo in order to get a time around 35-36 minutes and so the fastest recorded run on consoles for this character. But I will not even try to approach TheTechnoTurian's time with this kit (sub 27!), there is nothing I can do against a turian IRL with a huge military training and a natural stability bonus
