I love to hate this guy, but I usually don't kill him. He is the best leader, but he still met my Castless' murderknife a few times.

What? Why? That pretty much condemns your sister back to the streets and lets your nephew grow up without a father Image IPB

Actually Rica still lives among the nobles since her son is the heir of House Aeducan.

I can't remember if you could kill the crazy guy in the forest who you have to get an acorn from for treebeard.

The Mad Hermit?  Yep, but he doesn't have any loot.

He was a victim of metagaming to be honest.  Before I really got into Origins, I did all of the different beginnings first.  I had just finished the Noble origin before I did the Casteless, and she was my first Warden that I finished the game with. I may have been feeling a tad vindictive that day.

Vik, unforunately that would mean that Harrowmont would be in charge.  Which means most likely both Rica and her kid is dead.  Usually I leave Bhelen alive, since he really is the best for all of the Casteless and for Orazmmar in general.

I don't want to kill him, but he's an NPC I love to hate and wish I could beat the crap out of.  Repeatedly, though I'd want him to heal and rule the city.

A question for a question, an answer for an answer!

Harrowmont almost dooms orzammar to destruction by the darkspawn and bhelen drags orzammar into the future kicking and screaming. I find it harder and harder to consider harrowmont in each playhtrough so i mostly pick bhelen now.
On topic sister petrice is an affront to the qun, she needed to die.

My only regret about Petrice is being unable to kill her in Act 1.

Is it strange that I want to push Petrice up against the wall and do to her all sorts of things that the Maker forbids?

Just so that I can hear all the names she would call me.

I wouldn't touch Petrice with anything that doesn't break skin with a maximum of half a pound square pressure.

My top four acceptable targets:

*Vaughan Kendells
(the heir of the old arl of Denerim, the man who attempts to rape you if you're a female City Elf Warden in DAO, and the arrogant brat you meed in Arl Howe's dungeon as a non City Elf Warden).

*Kolgrim
Religious nutcase.

*Ser Alrik
(the tranquil solution. 'nuff said)

*Sister Petrice
(I hate the Qun, but I hate the likes of her more)

See, my problem with the Brother's plan is... Well, Alistair put it best.  Paraphrasing from memory here: "So, everyone stops by and takes a pinch of the ashes?  Gee, I hope that urn is self-replenishing."

On my super nice guy playthrough, I took a different approach.  I left the dragon alive and allowed Genitivi to live.  This choice was based on epilogue metagaming.

That's my standard solution to the problem "I don't want the Chantry to gain from this discovery but I also don't want to kill Genitivi." My main Warden is too much of a scholar to kill him, but he also hates the Chantry. He also sees no reason to go out of his way to engage a dragon in a fight. That's just stupid.

Yeah I prefer the epilogue with the high dragon alive. I did get around to killing it in subsequent playthroughs, but it just didn't feel like the right way for that story to go about.

Vaughan. I only wish we could take our time with that one, maybe introduce him to some of the toys in his own basement. I guess a simple decapitation (or a knife in the gut in non-CE playthroughs) has to do.

This.  I love Shianni, so that guy enraged me.

Branka is another one.  I hate her so much.  I don't know what Oghren saw in her, but what I saw was a raving idiot.

Jarvia

Petrice doesn't count for me, because a damn qunari steals your kill.  I was dying to kill Meredith, though.  And Grace.  For threatening Bethany, Grace is lucky I made her death quick.  AND she killed Thrask. *RAGE*

Ugh, Branka. Yep, I'll throw her onto the list. I enjoy killing her every time.

Ms. Murderknife approves:

She does have one of my favorite NPC voices in Origins though. I thought the VA did a fantastic job.

I didn't think you could kill him? Not that I ever would.

You can't, alas. This is more the "love to hate" part.

You can always uninstall him, isn't that the next best thing? Image IPB
