why iakus? Because the 'artistic' quote makes you cringe so much that you're unwilling to accept that videogames are an art-form, and that art sometimes imitates life?I doubt it's something you can understand.
Please don't bring "art" into this.
Do you still hate Mass effect 3?

what? You don't comprehend the fact that he was unnecessarily correlating the guys view of the game into his everyday life? And then you don't understand that I was indulging him with the correlation if that were the case?
o_O
Oh, no, I comprehend that just fine.
But your correlation was that since no-win scenerios happenin real life, they must therefore happen in videogames.

Yes, McFly, that's exactly it.

ha ok.Once again... That's purely speculative headcanon.
Leviathan, who created the Catalyst...who literally tells you how it (the Catalyst)created the mass relay network/citadel/reapers.
Alright. We'll just agree to disagree

Art - like beauty - is in the eye of the beholder.
You liked it.
Great.
I felt like I'd been stabbed.. Again.
Each to their own. I respect that you were fine with the codebase as shipped. I (and others) were not. Can you please accept that?

Hmm, I never heard a thing about it creating the Citadel, and I'm looking at the Youtube video right now.
It's headcanon on your part.

I wasn't okay with it (as shipped). I (as well as others) don't care if you don't like the game. There was a time when I hated it. Everybody has an opinion, and when posting on this forum we usually assume you're simply posting your opinion. It's when people pass off their opinion as fact with "it was bad because a. b. c. incorrect narrative structure/villain introduction" jargon crapola.Art - like beauty - is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not sure what you posted earlier, so don't take what I said previously in the thread as something directed towards you.
Me liking the game doesn't make me come here and ignore its flaws. Someone not liking it shouldn't possess them to come here and try their best to make everything seem nonsensical, when actually a good deal of it fits in a fairly straightforward fashion. You don't like it. Cool. I thought TLoU sucked balls, but it's universally praised for doing nothing new. Opinions. You get it. I get it. We're good.

I never hated any of the game, they are one of my favorites games actually, only was unhappy with the original ending, the extended dlc ending was perfect for me. Hopefully the next mass effect its set in the time where the grandpa is talking to the child in the end of mass effect 3.

If this was the real world, and I did find myself in such a ridiculous situation, yeah, I'd probably end up shooting the pipe.
You sure you wouldn't have said "You control the Reapers, and we need to find a new solution? OK, call off the harvest for a bit, let me get somebody up here with some medi-gel, and we'll talk." first?

And you believe it? Becasue it's obviously being honest. :-) Heh . Yeah... Right...
Ok. Whatever. Especially after everything else that happened in ME 3 (compared to the other installments of the franchise).
As far as I'm concerned everyithing in this universe is up for grabs.

Well, of course!
But if we're assuming that logic, common sense, and reality as we know it has gone out the window and, as I said, the ridiculous situation comes up where RGB is the only way to go because "no-win scenerios happen in real life"...

Dammit, I had to save the Collector Base to give to Cerberus or destroy it. Why couldn't I have handed it to the Alliance? This suxors.

No it isn't headcannon. You're right.
But it is headcanon. The Citadel might have been something else before becoming the hub of the relay... like, being the processing station for the Catalyst? Might it have been altered to fulfill the needs of the Catalyst and it's mandate? Might it have served a similar purpose to the Leviathans and their enthralled servant species?
Chicago was the hub of a great deal of railroads. That doesn't mean that Chicago was built when the railroads were built. Before the population started growing big, it was a U.S. Army Installation known as Ft. Dearborn.

The Leviathans lose all credibility when they say "There was no mistake, it still serves its purpose"
That's such a serious disconnect from reality I might as well believe the Citadel was built by superadvanced pyjaks.
