It's not because they don't like the character.  It's because they want to kill the character just because they don't like them.  Most of the characters people want to kill don't really have any reason to do it besides "She's a ****.  I don't like them."

Anders was pretty much the only the character I wanted to kill, with a legit reason too

I disagree.  I think new morrigan has a different facial structure and its a bad one, regardless of what age she's supposed to be.  Really, it doesn't make sense that her face would change in that way.  It is more than adding age.

It doesn't make sense that a face would look different in a new engine? Also, it's fine. The nitpicking on jaw angle from BSN is just so crazy at times.

Morrigan's story was never finished. She'll be around till it's resolved. Probably get into a battle of shapeshifting with her dear 'Mother'......

What story? The Old God Baby thing was an optional course that people who didn't romance her don't really care all that much about -- And even if some peopel did then Dragon Age isn't really about Morrigan. Anything else can be left for spin-off comics or novels which I imagine is how they do it

Ugly is ugly and that ain't nitpicking.  If you like to play with ugly people characters that totally do not look like their original counterparts facially, then congrats.  I mean, it wouldn't change my decision about picking up the game.  But bad is bad.

Oh, I agree (though I wasn't bothered by the previous). But it's recent and wasn't that advertised, so I think a lot of people didn't see it. That's why I asked him.

I thought you meant that. That's a screenshot from the first trailer. She changed twice: first in the GI coverage/Gamescon dev diary, and now in the pic Ares post. Which is likely her current version.

I'd like to believe that going through the Eluvian with Morrigan at the end of Witch Hunt would allow the child to have positive parenting from the Warden (at least IMO).

The Soul of Urthemeil, Dragon god of Tevinter, would not contain memories without the Taint.

Unless Morrigan is wrong and the Taint is not removed, she will have quite a bit of Influence over said child.

Assuming that her child is a result of the Dark Ritual and not Romance.  Do remember, if she is romanced by a male Warden, she gets pregnant, DR or no.


As for me, I will have all 3 ways.  Most chars do the DR, my Male Warden will romance her (but not do the DR), and my city elf (female) will refuse anything to do with her after the Broken Tower quest (US ending).

Will be interesting to see the differences.  But I'll not kill Morrigan unless Forced.
