This is one of my biggest issues with the DR.  The idea that the kid would be untainted.  The AD transfers from Tainted vessel to Tainted vessel upon death.  That's why Grey Wardens work.  Morrigan specifically needs someone Tanted to be the father.  That's why she can't perform the ritual with Eamon or some random guy off the street.  The baby will  be an acceptable vessel for the AD soul.  How is this baby NOT a Tainted vessel?

Morrigan is by far one of the best characters in DA behind Aveline of course. I shall never Kill her.

Aveline would of been my prefrence of an LI for my mage Hawke on my second playth through, Rather her than Merril. But when it comes down to it, she is just a tease, there to taunt you and crush your dreams:crying:. Morrigan was a possible LI at least, unlike Aveline. Well, I romanced Isabella with my original Hawke who was warrior and then did a second play through as mage Hawke and I really want to romance Aveline that time around by was ****-blocked by Bioware and was pretty upset. It was an unfair balance of LIs and Merril is too pixie for me.

Oh please, the male LI's in DA2 are way worse than the female ones- Both Fenris and Anders are whiny zealots. At least Isabela is fairly lax and Merrill stops her stupid mirror quest if you push her. Fenris and Anders just remain b!tchy and Anders is totally off his rocker.

Hopefully we'll have less nutty LIs in DAI I was fed up with the crazies. <_<

I'm going with the third option and not having any LI in Inquisition. Just an Inquisitor focused on the mission.

I never really thought about it, but yeah, the male LI's in DA2 are pretty much the choice between the angstmaster and Bin Magister. I guess there's Sebastian, if you go for the chaste romance thing.

But at least you had three options compared to two, one I lliked(Isabella), the other...meh(Merril). Aveline was not an LI for some stupid reason:pinched:

The only lawful good LI option I can recall in this franchise thus far is Alistair. I'm loath to count Sebastian, partly because he's not part of DA2 by default.

After such a long time, only a few people truly want to kill her, I mean c'mon, Morrigan is NO GOOD and DA:I will prove it, and even if she is good, i will still kill her cause my Inquisitor doesn't want rivals and wants to save Thedas singlehandedly!

You are right when you say that DA is about the world..BUT, in every setting you have important characters. The movers and shakers.
Complaining about Morrigan in DA is like complaining about Elminster in D&D.

We already knew from DA:O epilogues that she is in Orlais. And she - like her mother - a manipulator who likes to stick her nose everywhere where there is power. So it makes perfect sense for her to cross patch with the Inquisitor. So in this case, your uncle was already in New york before you arrived, and he may be looking for you.

In fact, NOT having her appear might be weirder than not having her.

With that said, a developer/writer is full within his rights to re-use characters they like. It's a big world and there is a lot of new characters to meet - that doesn't mean all the old characters stop existing or travelign or doign their own things.

Both are far better people than Morrigan - who b.t.w. also preaches and nags constantly.

But Morrigan gets a pass because she's a sexy seductress.
I'm willing to bet all my money that if Morrigan was an old, ugly woman, she would habve 99% less adoring fans.
