Griffins. Such an amazing creatures compared to the naughty dragons. Just like cats are so amazing and cute compared to the naughty dogs.

Dogs & Dragons... I wouldn't be surprised if it was the the working title of DA:O. BioWare has very long history with D&D abbreviation to just throw it away. But they couldn't think about the title as about Dungeons & Dragons for obvious reasons.

And now seriously... They told us about griffins in DA:O. They shown us few cats. But that's all... I believe the franchise deserves more Cats & Griffins.

An island where griffins survived and cats are used as combat pets?

Personally, I would prefer a prequel to the Dragon Age. And turn of events in the prequel suggesting that quite large population of griffins could survive somewhere in the world.
