"Trans*" is not a gender, fyi. Trans men identify as male and trans women identify as female, I just thought I'd mention that.

I'd say 80% of the time and now that I know it's canon that the "human" Anders is dead I kill him all the time just to make things easier when we make the transistion to The Keep.
Currently, there is no "transition" to the Keep, for the record. Right now, there is no planned functionality for The Keep to take existing save files and upload them. Current plans only exist to manually enter the information in.
They have said that could change, but that is not currently the state things are in right now, as of what Allan said in the DA Keep thread when it was first announced.
So... to be clear... you aren't taking any of the 24 import files with you. Not one. You'll have to manually enter them in through the Keep's website (24 times) to have any of them carry over into DA:I.
Just want to make sure more people understand that... because it seems like no one does these days.
Just to be clear I wasn't referring to importing actual data files. I was referring to keeping my particular preferential play through choices consistent so when I have to manually enter my choices in the Keep I won't have to waste time debating with myself which way I want to go with certain options.
I love when people assume we are all idiots.
