Two of the four in my area are doing midnight releases. Though I knew the one I primarily shop at is, it's interesting that two of the others aren't. Maybe pre-orders were low in my city. *shrug*

I got two gamestop's near my college. Sadly, I pre-ordered mine from the mall but they aint doing a midnite release, but the other gamestop which is equally close is lol.

The Gamestop I pre-ordered at is doing a midnight Release,it's pretty cool.Gamestop serve food and drinks at a midnight release.

Pros

+Play Game Early

+Make Sure I get all my Bonus Stuff and the CE

+Going to be up Anyways



Cons

-I have to walk there and back and could possibly be jumped for the game. (That isn't a huge worry to me as if I keep the game in my jacket people will think I'm packing and won't mess with me.

-Might not get everything I ordered it is Gamestop after all.

-Will basically kill myself wanting to play it all night.

._. Pity the GS I've gone to for 9 years isn't doing this. They had one for MW2 (they had an ad up outside the store for a few weeks before it was released.) If it wasn't so close to the release date I would consider switching my order over to one of the ones closer. Oh well. D: I'll have to wait I guess.

Kinda like what happened with me and my copy of DA....They gave me the Pre-Order codes for the PS3 version (for the wolf charm and ring) and I didnt realize it until it was far too late.

Oh well pity that I am in Canada. Here the local stores are not doing a midnight release. They did for MW2 but not for ME2. What I've been told is that there has been a definite lack of pre-orders compared to what was expected.

 LOL well I would if it were just limited to GS but the other 2 chain gamestores in the area are not doing a midnight release either and for the same reason. They did one for MW2 so seems as if there are no ME fans in this area.

Well mine is doing it....but I dont think I can justify it, considering I would never be able to sleep, and i have a long day of classes after it, I'll just grab it in the at 10 like I intended.

Damn. I'm in Canada myself, and I wish they had a nice convenient list for us too. I'm trying to concoct a plan to pick it up on my super busy Tuesday, if I could get it at midnight it's be pretty sweet.



Last game I pre-ordered from them was Halo 3: ODST, and they did call me a day before and inform me of a midnight release, Hoping they do the same here. *crosses fingers*

I took tuesday off. I'll just pick it up then... eventhough the Gamestop I pre-ordered my CE from will be open at midnight. I don't want to play it all tired and stuff. I'll just go when the store opens (and have gone to Target for Peanut Butter M&M's and Dr. Pepper as well as Pizza Hut for a pizza half an hour before that). Then I'll spend the next twelve hours playing it.

I just can't get myself excited about mag... I've been dissapointed too many times with the PS3's online gaming.
