OK, to the people of Sydney.... a little info. The ME2 release at EB games 403 george st is open to anyone. However,  IF you wish to take part in the competitions, and get the goodies, you MUST buy your game AT THAT STORE, which I found out today when I called them.

Also IF you want to get the bonus Terminus Armour & Blackstorm gun you still have to pre-order from THEM b4 next Thursday. This is a problem becuz they require a $10 deposit b4 they will hold a copy for you, and they can't/won't do it over the phone.... I tried, which is why I had to go down there today. Now I have to cancel my pre-order from gamestop, which is in the states I think.


I hope this helps anyone planning on going to the Sydney launch..... and I hope to see you there

You see I do not understand this, why do the Aussies get it and we Canadians dont. I mean Bioware is based in Edmonton and we get no love?

Well I hope, for your sake, you can transfer it Lucy, I think you can from another EB store in Syd, but mine is/was comin from the states... so I dunno yet. I tried online to cancel and it wouldnt let me, so I have to call them in the morning.

It's not Sydney, but curiously the Brisbane Myer store sent SMSes out today saying you could get your game from the Brisbane event store (which is at a seperate store nearby) if you paid in full beforehand. Perhaps they're owned by the same franchisee though (EB is a franchise setup, right?)
